Chapter 9

  "Widen your stance, " Natasha informed Frankie after pinning her down. Natasha let go of her hands but Frankie didn't move. Instead, she let out a breath and closed her eyes. She hurt in every part of her body after being taken down what felt like a million times by Nat.

  Frankie eventually pushed herself up from the ground not failing to wince at the pain that arose from her legs. Natasha noticed and turned towards Wanda. "Do you want to work with her now?" She questioned the scarlet haired women.

  "I thought you would never ask, " she chuckled while stepping into the boxing ring. She made her way over to Frankie who was leaning up against the ropes of the ring. "I'm going to show you how to to use your telekinetic powers better, " she smiled a Frankie then started to manipulate her scarlet spirals. Wanda looked over at a weighted ball a slowly brought it over to her.

  Out of nowhere, Wanda hurled the weighted ball over in her direction. Frankie quickly reacted pushing the ball back at Wanda while sending other objects in the room flying including Natasha who was watching from outside the ring. Wanda quickly caught the ball and set it on the ground.

   Frankie and Wanda both had telekinesis only they looked a bit different. Frankie's powers would remind you of a hurricane even her blue hair and cape flowed behind her like strong wind was blowing it.

  "That is what we don't want to happen, " Wanda explained while gesturing over in Nat's direction. "We want to isolate your powers so you don't affect your own team during a fight, "

  She walked out of the ring and got out three of the practice dummies from a storage closet and set them up about 8 feet from Frankie. "I want you to knock over the middle one without hitting the other two, "

  Frankie nodded and closed her eyes in an attempt to concentrate. She let out a long breath before opening her them. They were glowing now and her hair and cape were streaming behind her. She slowly lifted her hands and shoved the middle dummy over while the other two slowly tilted and eventually fell.

  "Great, " Frankie said with a sigh, her eyes fading back to their normal color, her blue hair and cape suddenly falling to her sides.

  "That seems like enough for today, " Natasha said while patting her in the back. Frankie teleported out of the ring and walked to the entrance of the gym.

  "Leaving so soon?" Tony questioned as he walked into the door before she could leave.

   "Yeah, we just got done, " Natasha clarified while stepping under the ropes of the ring. Tony nodded.

  "I found this in the pod, I have no idea why you have it but I thought it might be important, " Tony said as he pulled a rectangular box out of his pocket. Frankie examined it as she took it from him. It had a wire coming out of it that connected to a curved plastic thing with two circles on both ends.

  It felt oddly familiar. Frankie stared at it a while before looking up at Tony. "Do you know what it is?" She questioned him.

  Tony let out a laugh"sadly yes, " he breathed. "That's a Walkman, "
