Made To Find Each Other

Chapter 7

*Emersons POV*

I can't believe I finally grew a pair and had physical contact with Melon. Whenever I was around her I would get butterflies and right now I was standing outside with my arms wrapped around her. I was going to lean in and kiss her cheek when I saw my little sister and Daniel watching us from inside the bus. I pointed it out to Melon and we started heading back into the bus. When we got into the bus I took Lizzie to the backroom to have a chat with her about her and Daniel. She begged me not to tell him but I decided I wasn't going to let this go on much longer. I locked her in the back lounge and went out to find Curcio.

I lit a joint before turning around to Daniel and I decided fuck it.

"A certain little sister of mine has a very deep crush on you, you know that right?" He shook his head and raised it with the biggest smile on his face.

"Does she really?" His tone seemed so happy and it was nice to see him in love with someone and we knew we could trust that person with him.

"Yeah man, why not you go and talk to her?" I said to him as we turned around and walked into the bus and I saw Melon and Curcio exchange a little chit chat before he went to find Lizzie and Melon came over to me.

"Your sister is really lovely Em, she always knows what to do. I hope the two of us can get close." She said and she seemed to have a hint of excitement in her voice. I smiled and thought it was amazing that no matter what the situation was Lizzie always managed to make people feel better and put them in to a better mood than when they went to her. I sat on the couch making ssmall talk with Melon getting to know her and I couldn't help but get more and more fascinated with her. She was funny and very talented. She was saying to me that she loves to bake and of course I said to her that I like to eat cake causing her to laugh.

After a short while I look up to see Curcio leaving the back lounge and Sebastian and Remington were challenging Melon to a game of Mario Kart. I thought whilst they were all having fun I was going to go in to Lizzie and talk to her to see if she was okay and get some advice from her. I walk up to the door for the back lounge knocking before hearing her say come in.

"Hey I just wanted to check you were okay and get some advice from you." She looked at me with wide eyes as if I had just chilled a puppy or something.

"Go on"  She raised an eyebrow before signalling for me to sit down and start talking.

I let out a deep breath before deciding now was the time to do it.

"I really like Melon. She's beautiful, she's sweet and she's everything I've always had in a girl but I just don't know if she likes me back and I want to ask her out but I don't know what to do ." She giggled at how much of a love sick puppy I was being but I couldn't help it. Melon was the first girl to ever make me feel this way.

"The best thing you can do Emmy boy is turn around to her and ask her on a date. You can see the chemistry between you two and I must say it is the cutest thing I have ever seen." I giggled at her child like excitement but she was right I had to do this because it wasn't going to do it itself. I let out a sigh before Lizzie said she would go and get Melon. 

She left the room and I took a moment to breath before Melon walked in looking concerned. I shot her a small reassuring smile before she sat down opposite me and gently touching my hand. I took one last deep breath before the words just came straight out of my mouth,

"Will you go on a date with me?" I brace myself for her to laugh and say no but what took away my breath the most was her answer.

"Yes. Of course I will."

I was beyond over the moon that I had asked her on a date and I was going to do everything in my power to make sure that this was the best date she has ever had and ever will have unless it's a date with me and I'll make sure that it keeps getting better every single time.
