Pain. Pain was all I felt as they stabbed me with many needles full of who knows what. Thats when I felt it slowly starting to fall asleep.
I was standing in a field of grass and flowers. Breathing in the fresh air slowly. I looked to my left and saw a blue liquid. A water fountain. I thought to myself running towards it. Falling onto my suddenly tired knees. I reached out my hands. I slowly dragged my hand across the surface of the cool liquid. I could see little fish swimming around in the pond I wish I could be them. So free to move wherever they want.
'Bang' I heard causing my eyes to fly open and sitting straight up in my bed. I slumped my shoulders realizing it was all a dream oh how much I wish it was real. But I was here stuck in my sad little room with only one single window. I looked down at the floor to find my notebook on the floor. I must have knocked it off my nightstand. I got up placing my feet on the cold padded floor of my room. I walked over to my bathroom and turned on the cold shower. Taking off my boring white clothed dress that I was forced to wear and stepping into the now hot water letting it soak my (h/c) hair. I grabbed my pomegranate shampoo and started rubbing all through my noted hair. I even put some on my black horns. Reminding me that I was not human. Nobody knew how a came to exist. I had normal parents but then didn't want me because I was a "demon girl". So they brought me to this hell hole.
I finished my shower and was now laying in bed staring out my singular window. Outside I could see a dark and gloomy forest. That's the only thing outside of this place that I have ever seen. I haven't been outside since I was 3 and I am now 18.
My thoughts were interrupted by my door opening causing a loud shrieking noise to occur. A woman walked in carrying a tray of what they called food but what was really just a pile of mush.
"Here's your breakfast demon girl" the woman said this infuriated me.
"My name is (y/n)" I said threw gritted teeth.
She just silently placed the tray in front of me and walked out of the room slamming the door shut on the way out. I hope I get out of here soon I thought to myself wile taking my first bite of the green mush on the tray.
