Chapter Twelve - The Shadow Queen's Return

(Kyoya P.O.V)

I held Rose in my arms and I rocked her, even though I knew movement was dangerous with a head injury I was just glad she was there. "Kyoya let her go, we need to admit her and see how her injuries are." Yuuichi said softly, I nodded and he took her gently out of my arms. They put her in a gurney and wheel her into one of the Trauma rooms, I looked at my clothes and saw that there was a wet spot from her crying. Hours passed and I've been talking with my Father and my elder brother to figure what are we going to do, we decided to keep Rose's name out of the media and identify him under Satomi Marquin and let the feds handle him since he was a wanted criminal. Father was discussing grandchildren and then next thing he suggested that shocked me.

"You want us to what?!" I question him, he looks at he and you could see the age in him. His Alzheimer's has gotten worse but he's still able to be the family patriarch, I keep an eye on his health and I know he got another illness but what no clue. "I said you and Rose have a child, I know that you're both still in school but Rose can't return to school now since her injuries, so she'll be homeschooled until she's healed and when she's better I want you two to try for a child." He explains and I was utterly shocked, we were still in school but we're also still teenagers despite what the law says. "Father were not ready, she just got home and you expect her to carry my child when she hasn't been home for less than four hours! What's wrong Father, why are you asking this of us?!" I asked the male, slightly yelling and he sighed and whispered in my ear what was the reason.

He was dying and he wanted to know that he had one grandchild before he left the world, but I couldn't provide him that wish at least without talking to Rose first. "I'll talk to her... but I don't know what she might say as an answer." I tell him and out of nowhere he hugs me, and tells me he's proud of the man I've become. "Kyoya, Father, you guys can go see Rose, but I suggest she doesn't push herself for a few weeks." Yuuichi tells us and he guides us to her hospital room, where she laid in her bed fast asleep. "We kept her under sedation but she'll wake up sometime tomorrow, but most likely she'll awaken during the night. Kyoya how about you head home and bring some change of clothes, as well as some soap and you'll be the one to clean her up when she's ready." Yuuichi suggests and I nodded, I surprised him by briefly hugging him and left the hospital to our home.

Originally the plan was for Rose and I to move into the smaller estate my family owns, but I bought a small condo with the club funds of course and with the money we received from Rose's inheritance. I was able to keep much of the original funds that way, and add more over the past year, many of Rose's stuff was still in boxes but some were out. I arrived to our home and it was quiet as always, I was usually the only one here, once in a while Tamaki stays over but that's due to his Grandmother.

I walked into our closet in the master bedroom, I grabbed her a pair of white underwear, a white bra, a black shirt and a red plaid skirt. I place the clothing articles into an overnight bag and I went to the bathroom and grabbed her shampoo, conditioner, and body wash as well as a loofah to scrub her body of the dirt and grime on her. I checked my phone and saw that Tamaki and the others were trying to reach me, but I needed to focus on Rose for a bit so I gladly ignored the others but I had to answer Tamaki's or else he would bother her non stop. "Yes Tamaki what do you want." I answered the phone and he quietly asked why wasn't I answering my phone. "If I tell you, promise not to say anything to the others until I return to school in a few days?" I asked and he hummed in agreement, for some reason he was calm and I didn't like that.

"I'm guessing the other Hosts are there right now, hence your acting like this. Tamaki if you want to know what I was planning to tell you, come to my place you know where I live and I suggest you come alone, if not I'll be banning any cosplays for a month." I warn them and they hang up, so I waited for Tamaki to come and he does and like I requested alone and so I got into my car and yes I own a car and drive it to the school, the chairman allows me so I don't worry about fines. We drove to the hospital which confused him, I told him to follow and he was a few feet away so he didn't hear me ask for Rose's room, I got the room number and we both went to her room.
