Paul opened his eyes yawning loudly. He sat up straight and looked out of his window, it was a sunny Monday morning.
He touched his lips lightly, thinking back of yesterday. He could still feel John's chapped lips covering his own and it made him feel all warm and soft.
The lad combed his hair and got downstairs. He drank a cup and looked up at the clock, it was 8.10, he was late. "Shit," he cursed before sprinting through the door to catch the bus. He was just in time and sat at the very end to wait for his friends.
A few stops later, two lads stood up from the bus stop. When they were about to get in the shorter one tripped over a rock and fell on the ground, the other laughed pointing at him before helping him up. Paul grinned at them as they got in, "I think it would be better if Geo just carries ye inside next time Ringo," Paul sassed making the shorter lad glare. George laughed as they both sat down next to him.
The lads started talking but Paul had drifted off, daydreaming about John. Without realizing a smile had appeared on his face, Ringo noticed and grinned, "thinking 'bout ye girl?" he asked facing his friend.
"I don't 'ave a girl," Paul replied sitting up, he was getting nervous, they couldn't know about John.
"What 'bout you and tha' Linda," George asked curiously.
"Linda?" Paul frowned, who the hell was Linda?"The one from art class. With y'know," George stopped and turned around to see if anyone would hear him, "the big boobs," he smirked making Paul glare.
The bus had arrived at their school and the boys got out. "See ye during lunch Paulie," George waved as he and Ringo walked away to their first class.
Paul sighed, he wasn't looking forward to listening to some boring teacher explaining about math or some other bullshit for the entire day but dragged himself towards his first period.
As the day went by, Paul found himself staring out of the window a lot, he was secretly hoping John's head would magically pop around the corner or something. Of course, nothing like that happened but still, a man can dream.
At the end of the day, Paul left the class and started heading towards the exit when he heard his name.
"Oi Paul," Ringo yelled jumping up and down to try and get Paul's attention. Paul walked over to him and greeted him, "'Ello Richy, where's Geo?" Ringo pointed toward the restroom and Paul nodded in return.
After a few minutes, George returned and they started walking back to the bus stop. They got on and drove off, after a few stops a tall teddy-boy looking lad got in and Paul recognized him at once, "John!" he said standing up.
"Surprise seein' ye here Princess," he smirked before sitting down next to him casually touching Paul's thigh with his own, in any other situation Paul wouldn't have noticed but now John's touch made him shiver. John quickly glanced at him smiling widely at how awkward Paul was.
Ringo and George exchanged a strange look making Paul a bit anxious, "ehm- George, Ringo, this is John. He's a- he's a friend of mine."
"'Ello, nice to meet ye lads," John replied shaking their hands. They chatted for a while until Ringo and George had to get off the bus. Two stops later Paul had to get off and, of course, John joined he had an excuse to be around him.
"How do ye even know which bus I take?" Paul asked as they walked towards Paul's house, John grinned as he took out a cigarette and lit it. "I 'ave my sources," he replied puffing out some smoke. Paul glared making John grin.
After a good ten minutes, they arrived at Paul's house. The lads got in and took off their coats.
"Is there someone home?" John asked putting off his shoes, Paul shook his head confused.
"Good," John replied before pushing the lad against the wall and kissing him roughly on the lips. Paul was a bit taken back at first but kissed him back almost instantly. John's touch made his heart flutter and feel incredibly warm. He tasted like smoke and a tiny bit of alcohol but Paul loved every second of it.
As they pulled back, John smiled, "I've been wanting to do that all day Macca."
