Plan had been sleeping in a hospital bed for several hours. Not for a second did Mean leave Plan's bedside. The food P'Forth and P'Beam brought 2 hours ago remained untouched. Mean continued to hold Plan's small hands. His mouth also never stopped talking about many things. About the memories of the two of them and about Mean's feelings that had been latent. Occasionally, Mean crying. He never felt afraid like this. He was very afraid of losing Plan. He didn't know since when Plan has become the center of his world.
Forth and Beam deliberately leave them alone and forbid anyone to enter without their orders or without a sign from Mean. Forth is still trying to calm Beam who feels guilty for telling Plan the news about his parents. Beam thought that he should have waited for Plan to recover 100% and be ready to receive the news. Forth said that the sooner Plan knew, it would be better because Plan would accept it and recover faster.
"What if when Plan wakes up, he still can't take it, Forth? I dare not meet him. I won't be able to," Beam asked, still in a trembling voice.
"I told you, that's why you, me and Mean are here for Plan at this moment. We and everyone who loves Plan will help him recover. Certainly wouldn't be easy, but thats not impossible right? If you give up now, then what about Plan? It's enough that Plan lost his parents, does he have to lose you now too?"
"But Forth ..."
"Baby, you trust me right? You believe in Mean, right?"
Beam nodded then Forth cupped Beam's cheeks.
"And I believe in you. There are many great doctors in this hospital, but you are the best doctor for Plan. Nobody could take care of Plan better than you. Me and Mean will do whatever is needed for his recovery. All you have to do is to ask us. Hhmmmm???"
Beam nodded and hugged Forth's body tightly. The tears are still flowing and his body is still shaking but not as hard as before. Slowly, Beam's body began to calm down. Beam pulled his body from Forth's embrace and wiped the tears from his white cheeks and smiled.
"I'm ready, Forth. Help me," he said confidently.
"Whatever you need, baby," answered Forth smiling proudly. His lover's confidence has returned. The Great Doctor Beam is back.
