"CALL IT ROGERS," Geneva let out as she pushed a soldier off her side of the vehicle. This had to be the most heavily guarded HYDRA base they'd taken and they'd taken a lot. The base's defense included a different level of technology too.

Not even a second later, a roar sounded throughout the area. "Sit down Geneva. If you fall I'm not catching you," Natasha shouted at her from the driver's seat. Geneva ignored her warning, shooting a man straight out the air.

"Just drive faster please," Gen replied with a smirk. "Must you guys leave such a mess behind?"

"I just saw you shoot down ten men in less than one minute," Tony said through the comms. "It's your mess too Switzerland."

"Just ten?" Geneva asked in mock shock. "I must be getting old."

Thor's voice crackled over the earpiece. "I am almost fifteen hundred years old, quite young actually, surely age cannot be what's to blame."

Gen ducked as the Hulk tore another vehicle apart. "I didn't show up to work today to be dragged in this manner," Geneva said with a frown as she moved closer to Natasha, knowing what was about to happen.

The vehicle turned horizontally and Geneva, Clint, and Nat jumped out, each springing onto a soldier. "Focus," Steve forced out. Geneva took Natasha's hand expertly flinging her into a couple of soldiers. Gen bounded off a rock and wrapped her legs around the neck of one of the men, slamming her arms into his head. She swung her legs to the side, knocking him down and landing in a crouch.

"I am focused," she said to herself while moving on to more soldiers.

There was a loud bang over the comms. "Shit."

"Language," Steve shouted, causing Geneva to roll her eyes. "JARVIS, what's the view from upstairs?"

She ran, shooting two men who were manning large guns.

"The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield," the A.I said. "Strucker's technology is well beyond any other Hydra base we've taken."

Geneva kicked another man off the side of the platform before he could even see her. Steve's shield flew dangerously close to her face. "Watch it," she shouted.

"Sorry."

"Loki's scepter must be here. Strucker couldn't mount this defense without it. At long last," Thor said in what could've been relief.

Geneva dove off the platform and onto the back of a soldier, stabbing his shoulder with her poison-laced knife and twisting him to the side to use him as a shield from his friends. She sent a flurry of precise shots at them, each falling painfully into the ground.

"At long last is lasting a little long, boys," Natasha quipped after a prolonged moment.

Geneva flipped backward off the man, her gloves hands hitting the dirty snow. "Agreed. It's cold out here for us regular folk."

Clint let out a short chuckle. "Yeah. I think we lost the element of surprise."

Gen hummed. "We're lucky to have even had it in the first place."

"Wait a second," Tony said suddenly. "No one else is going to deal with the fact that Cap just said 'language'?"

"I know." There was a crash in the background. "It just slipped out."
