For an Island Prince ✓

+ Author's Note

Dear readers,

            Hey there! I hope that everyone reading this note is doing okay and if you're not doing okay, I sincerely hope that things will turn out better for you. I just wanted to write this note, perhaps, to end on a good note to people who have read my work over the past few years.

            I've been on this app since 2015 of June (2020 of June would officially make it 5 years, correct me if I'm wrong). As expected, this app had brought several trials and tribulations into my life that I take full responsibility of. 

            Although this ride hasn't been so pretty and the friends I've made have come and gone, I have also come and gone. There was a time where I was a strong, uplifting tree in this app where I am now a piece of driftwood floating aimlessly in the sea. 

            I'm now an eighteen-year-old in college, trying to make myself a life off the internet that I took salvation in for the past few years. Wattpad taught me a lot. It taught me how to write, taught me how powerful writing is, and how big of a place it has in my heart.

            I am thankful for how much it has given to me.

            I decided to end my time on this platform as an amateur writer. I want to focus more on the future without forgetting to cherish the art of writing and who knows? Maybe I'll see someone from this site on the streets if we're ever lucky! 

            And so, thank you to everyone who has seen me grow up virtually for the past few years. Every laugh, fight, and consolidation has shaped a part me and I am thankful for every person I have met despite the situations I have imposed or we have gone through. 

            Lastly, I always want to be an inspiration for others in writing so that's why I'm never going to quit. I will never stop writing and trying to gather people together in the beauty of creativity. So ... I'm considering making another platform for writing. Maybe a website or maybe a little blog. Still unsure, but I'll make sure to log back on and add a new tag. 

            For now, this is your aspiring writer logging off.
