“Fascinating!”Carlisle exclaimed after I turned into him.
“Yo,can I turn back now?Being a dude is creepy.”I said.
“Coming from Carlisle’s body,it sounds pretty weird.”Alice said.
“I know,right?”I turned back into me.
“So,why do you think you got these powers?”Carlisle asked.
“What?Oh.Well,I always wished that I could be someone else or something else.”I shrugged.
“Hmm.”
“What’s that in your pocket,Carlisle?”Esme asked.
“Hmm?Oh,that’s a sample of Alex’s blood.”
“Exscuse me?”I said.
“How’d you get blood from her.It’s not like she threw it up!”Rosalie said.“You didn’t throw up blood,right?”
“No he jabbed a needle into my arm.Which freakin HURT!”
I heard a grumbling noise.It sounded kinda like an airplane when you’re on the inside and it’s going down the runway.
“What was that?!”I asked.
“Me.”Jacob got up and crossed over into the kitchen.
“Dang.”
We all sat in silence,except for Jake,who was raiding the fridge.
I started feeling tired.Vampire tired.The day was extremely eventful.No wonder I was pooped.
“So,about that blood thing,”Emmett said,breaking the silence.
“No you can’t drink it.”I snapped.
“I wasn’t gonna,chill out.Anyway,what did you do with it?”
“I checked her blood.She is very peculiar.”
“Aren’t we all?”Jasper sighed.
“What’s so peculiar about me,Doc?”I asked.
“How’d you know he was a doctor?”Edward asked.
“I didn’t.”
“Oh.”
I saw Bella silently laugh.
“Sooo,Carlisle,what’s so peculiar?”
“Well,a couple of things.”
“That means a lot of things.You’d better get comfy.”Emmett said.
“Ha ha.Anyways,it’s amazing that the needle pierced your skin.You also fainted,which no other vampire I know has done.You’re eye color looks more brownish than red.”
“It’s been a month since I became a vampire.”
“Oh.But still.”
“So what’s wrong with me?”
“You have a blood type.”
“Whaaaaaat?”
“Well,I checked your blood and saw that the sample was mostly contaminated with vampire venom but a quarter of it was human blood.”
“Um,isn’t it supposed to be?I mean,I killed a guy once...”
“But human blood doesn’t go into our blood systems,really.And you’re human blood looked a bit like the contaminated blood.”
“So,are you saying that she’s a quarter human?”Bella asked.
“Yes.”
“Hey,gimmie that!”I snatched a bottle of soda and a bag of chips from Jake’s arms.(It was one of those tiny bags)
“Hey!”
Too late.I had already chugged it all down and devoured all the chips.
“Mmm,tasty.”I rubbed my stomach.Then I noticed everyone looking at me.
“What?”
“You just ate chips and didn’t say that they tasted like dirt.”Alice said.
“Was I supposed to say that?”she nodded.
“Well-oh,oh my gosh!I gotta PEE!”I ran straight to the bathroom,used it and then ran back to the living room.
“I told you that she was unusual.”Carlisle whispered.
I was about to say something when my stomach grumbled.
“I need food!”
