Lisa's POV

Jennie called me in the middle of my dad and I's lunch meeting. I answered the call even though I still have feelings for her and still trying to move on. i understand answering her call will do me no good but I still answered it anyway. My dad was looking at me. I hanged up with Jennie and promise her that I will call her back, at first she doesn't want because she doubt that I will call her again. But after nth time of convincing her that I will call again she was okay with it. After the call I saw my dad smirking in front me of me.

"What's with the face, Dad?" I ask him smiling

"Lisa, I know how much you like that lady but are you sure you're doing the right thing talking to her again, I mean for someone who's trying to move on that is a bad idea, Child" my dad says

"I know dad, but I can help it. This is the first time that I feel a strong feelings towards someone despite of the rejection" Lisa said

"I know, love is a strong feeling so be very cautious,child. I don't want to see you sad and specially your mom, all worried about you because of this" My father says

"I understand, I am a grown woman dad. I know what to do, but thank you so much for always being there for me, you and Mom." I said hugging my dad

My family has been very supportive of me with my decisions. They all know that Jennie rejected me and I was terribly hurt because of that and they also understand that I still have feelings for her.

We ended our lunch meeting ang we went back to our building to discuss certain proposal from our new Korean Partners. A huge project is being planned and this project will be in Korea.

After hours at work I went home and get some sleep. I did not stay on the Tv room but i went directly to my room. I really feel so tired, exhausted even because of todays schedule. After our meeting I visit 5 of our branches again, I love reaching out to our employees and asking their opinion on how to improve our services. After all they are on the first line and if there are someone who can say something about what goes wrong or right thats them. We owe the success of our business to our employees. They are the heart of the Manoban Industry.

It's 10 in the evening and I get up from bed to drink water. For some reason I woke ip thirsty. I went down to the kitchen and get myself a glass of water and went back to bed. I still couldn't sleep and suddenly I remember that I promise to call Jennie. So I did.

"Hello, did I wake you up?" it's 10 pm here in a Thailand and its 12 midnight now in Korea

"He.loo?" Jennie answered the call and I guess I woke her up

"Ohh.. sorry, I woke you up." I said sadly

I know how important her sleep is since she is a busy woman. I really feel bad for waking her up in the middle of her sleep.

"That's alright, I'm glad you call." jennie said

"Yes, I promise to call you back remember? So yes, here I am pestering you in the middle of your sleep. Hahaha" I said

"Hahahha that's alright, Lisa. I'm happy you call me back. I still don't have work in the morning so I can sleep late or wake up late" Jennie said

"So how's your day,Jen?" I asked her

"My day went really well. I get the chance to call you and talked to you and then after our call in the morning, my cousin Jisoo came over and brought chickens with her." Jennie said giggling

"Really? What did you two do then?" i ask her

"Nothing much, we watched Netflix and she ate her chicken. I didn't eat that much because I still need to fit my clothes for our US concert so I need not to gain weight and be fit" She said

"Hahaha I see. Even if you eat lots of chicken you will still look great and sexy, Jennie" I told her. I really meant it

"You think Im sexy huh.. You're sexy too, Lisa" Jennie said with a sexy tone

Hearing her calling me sexy bring a very uncommon feeling. Is she flirting back with me now? She never do this before so why now after what happened? I asked myself because Im confuse. Jennie is giving me signals lately. Should I ask her? Maybe next time. I don't want to experience double kill as what Jackson reminded me before.

"Uhmmm. Thanks Jen." i said to her

Our conversation went really well and lasted an hour. I can feel that she's really sleepy because her voice is getting cuter and cuter so I told her that we should hang up and call it a night. She agree with me but before the call ended she told me the words that made my heart skip a beat again..

"Lisa, before you hang up, i know that I've hurt you in the past and I rejected you. But if your offer of courting me is still open, then My answer now is Yes." jennie said

I can't believe what I heard so I ask her again to clarify. Maybe she's just sleepy and she will not remember this again tomorrow.

"Jennie, are you sure of what you are saying?" i ask

"Lisa, I said no before because I am confused of my feelings. I don't know if Im feeling the same way as you do to me. But that's in the past, after what happened after  no show to my concert, not talking to me , I realized that you made me happy every time you talk to me and no one I mean has ever made me feel that way before. So if your offers still stands, I am saying Yes, you can court me." She said

"Uhmmm. Yes, i will.. I will. Court you, Jennie." I cannot believe that I stutter right now

We both ended the call and I shout with to much happiness. I jump like a kid in my bed and keep on shouting, good thing that my room is sound proof so nobody can hear me. I am really happy right now.. I did the right thing coz Both my heart and brain is telling me.
