A couple of years after Marble Hornets ended, good old Slendy found Tim and made a deal with him. The deal was that Slender would fix everything and make everything go back to the way things were. Meaning that everyone (Jay, Alex, Jessica, Brian, etc) would all come back.
The only thing is that nobody would remember what happened the last 6 or so years would be erased and they would be replaced with other fake memories or would just be blank. Along with that, both Tim and Brian would have to become proxies for Slender for the rest of their life (which is pretty much forever seeing as they can't age).
Tim, still mourning the loss of Jay and Brain, agreed to the deal. Neither Tim nor Brian have any recollection of how they became Proxies and only know what they found through Marble Hornets.
