Dianna wasn't right for Taylor.
She was too short, Taylor needed someone taller than her so she could be protectively snuggled into their arms when she was having a bad day.
Taylor also needed someone who could make her happy.
Karlie could see past those small smiles Taylor wore in the photos she obsessively kept track of.
But of Karlie couldn't tell Taylor any of these things, she no longer had the right. She had all been abandoned by the beautiful blue eye'd starlet. She'd lost her spot as best friend, she felt. The lived just a block or so apart, yet Taylor found excuses as to why she couldn't visit or she'd forgotten to invite the model to parties and celebrations. The last time she'd seen Taylor was on her birthday almost three weeks prior. That had been the day things changed.

"Hey Karlie!" The apartment was packed to the brim with friends and Taylor's family. Karlie's gift had been shipped to the wrong adress and she had scoured all of NY until she was finally able to locate it causing her to be late.
"Hey Emma! Have you seen Taylor? I need to give her her gift." Karlie hugged the redhead.
"Yeah I think I saw her and Dianna head into her room." Karlie paused before she thanked her and headed toward Taylor's room.
A few people greeted her as she passed by and politely responded to them. And then finally she was at her door and for some reason her hands began to shake as she reached for the door knob.
"Get it together Kloss."
She summed the courage and confidence she usually had on stage when modeling lingerie and opened the door.
"Hey Taylor, sorry I'm late traffic was a..." Karlie froze.
She stared wide eyed at the scene before her. Her half a second confidence disappearing out the window.
On the bed lay Taylor, Dinna straddling her. Their lips which had been locked together just seconds ago hung wide open. They were fully clothed, thankfully, although Karlie sickenly noticed the straps to Taylor little black dress limply hanging below her arms.
"Oh, I'm so sorry. I'll just leave this somewhere else, sorry." Dumbfounded, Karlie set the gift down on a nearby table and quickly made her way to the door.
"Karlie! Hey did you find Taylor?" Emma stopped her.
"No, actually I think I'm coming down with something. I'm going to get going before I get anyone else sick. Can you tell Taylor, I'm sorry?" Karlie was almost breathless as she tried not to show too much emotion over what she had just witnessed.
"Oh sure. Hope you feel better!" Karlie gave her a small smile before she all but ran out of the apartment.

She was in trouble.
It wasn't until she had made it home after a long walk that she came to the very obvious conclusion.
She was in love with Taylor.
She had been since the moment Taylor had confessed and she had been an idiot and broken her heart. She had always wanted to hurt those boys who played with her best friends heart and now she was one of them. And not only that, she had ruined their friendship.
All because she was scared.
She was scared that they wouldn't work out. That Taylor would see that once they were together that she wasn't the picture perfect girl. Then she'd leave her and she'd be all alone without her best friend and without a heart. It would hurt.
But it hurt more now.
Seeing Taylor hold Dianna's hand sickened Taylor, it drove her mad with jealously. It was her own fault really but a small part of her hated Taylor for moving on so quickly. Just two months after she confessed her love for her, she was out kissing this girl who, Karlie knew, she didn't love.
That's what brought Karlie to Times Square.
