After finishing her set on the square, Taylor was rushed to nearest building rented out for the event and quickly changed into her coat and scarf and beanie. It was lightly snowing and there was a small breeze so it would be best to keep warm. She opted out of gloves and instead stuck her cold hands into her pockets, along with hand warmers.

Dianna waited for her at the entrance.

She took her hand and they were lead to a small section of the back of Time Square, which was a private as it would get being outside.

As usual, everyone around her screamed her and Diannas name but they polietly ignored them, sending them a smile for the rode.

Dianna chatted with her friend while Taylor stared up at the ball.

It all felt wrong.

Holding Diannas hand, standing there in public for another year, the consequences most likely would catch up to her tomorrow. Another article dissaproving of her new sexuality, another fan lost.

It was all wrong.

"5"

Dianna squeezed her hand.

"4"

She felt eyes burning into her back, unlike anything she's ever felt before.

"3"

Karlie began to run toward them.

"2"

Taylor felt her hand slip out of Diannas.

"1"

Karlie didn't pause a second.

She pulled Taylor's face to hers and began to agreesively and possesively kiss away all of Taylor's fears. Taylor was frozen half a second before she happily responded. Karlies cold hands left goose bumps along her cheek as they traced their way up and into Taylor's hair undearneath the beanie. A voice in the back of her head shouted at her to stop.

This was Karlie.

Not Dianna who she was currently sorta dating.

But it was Karlie.

Karlie who owned her heart, body, mind and soul.

She wasn't sure what this meant for them but for now she would enjoy the taste of her lips, the way Karlies tongue gently caressed hers. She was in Karlie paradise and she never wanted to leave. It was a sweet escape.

But they had to.

Karlie eventually pulled away, slowly, the look of confidence she wore before long gone replaced by look of utter fear.

Taylor bit her lip as she looked over to her side for Dianna and was surprised to see her gone.

She'd worry about her later, for now, she had to deal with the model that probably just ruined her reputation even more.

"C'mon lets go." Taylor grabbed her hand and with a bit of instruction, they were lead to a waiting car. Taylor was scheduled to appear at an after party but she had something more important to attend to.

They were both silent the whole way to Taylors apartment but their hands were still intertwined.

-

"Do you want some hot chocolate?"

Karlie nodded her head as she removed her scarf and hung it on the coat rack. She then settled down on the bar stool and Taylor watched her as she nervously twisted her hands together.

Once the the drinks were done, Taylor set the cups down and sat herself next to the nervous model.

They both took a sip and were instantly filled with warmth.

"Okay. I think it's time that I talked. I would like if I can get this all out there tonight so we don't have to keep skirting around each other, if that's alright with you."

Taylor nodded her head.

"Okay, here it goes. Taylor, I'm an idiot. I'm the biggest idiot that you have unfortunatly had the pleasure of meeting. When you confessed to me that you loved me, I used Joshua as an excuse, I used our friendship as an excuse and it's the shitiest thing I have ever done. No. The shitiest thing I have ever done was break your heart. I hated myself from the moment I saw the look on your face when I reject you. I still hate myself for not realzing sooner that what I feared meant nothing if you were unhappy. And if what I felt when I saw you kissing Dianna is anything close to the amount of heartbreak you felt, I could just kill myself for hurting you like that. And I would not hate you for never wanting to see me again. But I have to let you know this one thing before you decide, cause I can't see us go on like the way we have, that's not a friendship. Not what were before. Cause, Taylor, I love you."

Taylors heart pounded rapidly in her chest and a weight was lifted off her shoulder. Karlie went on but Taylor was lost on those three magical words.

And suddenly, Taylor could care less what the media would write about her tomorrow in the papers.

Becuase Karlie loved her.

She didn't care if Dianna never wanted to speak to her again.

Becuase Karlie loved her.

She could forget the heartbreak Karlie caused her.

Becuase Karlie loved her.

And Taylor loved Karlie.

"Karlie," Taylor gasped out.

Karlie paused nevously and eye'd her worriedly.

"Kiss me." She was breathless and when Karlie leaned in close, Taylor saw stars.

They kissed slow and soft. Tentively, Karlie placed her now warm hand on Taylor's knee.

Karlie was the one to pull away first.

"What does this mean."

Taylor giggled. "I forgive you silly. And I love you too."

"Really?" Karlies eyes lite up.

Taylor laughed and nodded her head.

"Then if we're going to do this, we have to do it right." Karlie grabbed Taylor's hands. "Taylor Alison Swift, will you give me the pleasure of going on a date with me."

Taylor jokingly bit her lip, pretending to think about it.

Karlie shoved her shoulder playfully.

"Okay! Okay! I will go on a date with you!" Taylor laughed.

Standing she pulled Karlie to her again.

Ending all their problems with that small little kiss.

THE END.
