As I click the POWER button on my television's remote, I get a vibration from my phone, indicating a text message. I pull out the silver and white phone out of my pocket to check who sent me the message. It was Amanda. Me and Amanda are like Batman and Robin, her being Batman and me being Robin, (She wanted it like that, not me), we have each others back in any situation we get into. The message read out, Meet me by the river at 9 o'clock sharp. I have something to show you. I replied with an OK, and watched television until the clock hit at around 8:50, and headed to the river, for the trip there isn't very far. As I arrived, Amanda was sitting on a creaky, old wooden bench that has been sitting in the same spot for at least 50 years or so. She never looked so gorgeous in her entire life, like a goddess of beauty has possessed her and gave her more beauty than she already had. As I hop off my bike, I run up to sit next to her on the bench to greet her. "Hey, whats up?" I asked. She replied with her angel like voice, "I came here to show you this," She pulled out a mysterious rock with a weird design on it from her coat pocket "I found this in my fire place. Pretty cool, huh?" I took a look at the rock, and felt something...unusual. It felt out of place. I've felt things like this before, but not to this much of an extreme. No, not this, this was different. And all I could reply to this was "I guess so." And then I stared into her bright eyes, looking like two bright diamonds. "What's it d-" As I said that, the side of the bench I was sitting on, gave out and broke. Small shrapnel flew everywhere, even a piece shot up my back. Pieces of wood lay on Ananda's hair. She helped me up and asked "You ok?" I was more embarrassed than anything, and I think a shed a tear that night, but it was hard to tell, for this, which I later realized, was just a dream.
