Sylvia had unpacked most of her required things that she wouldn't need at Hogwarts such as her Quidditch kit and her Durmstrang uniform. She then found a replacement seeker and said goodbye to her friends for the next two months, promising to write to them all, especially Karkaroff and Sam. She then packed the stuff she would need such as her school books and reading books as well as the other things she would need, not forgetting Tom Riddle's diary. On Sunday, she used the floo network to reach Dumbledore's office.
"Hello Professor. Thank you for allowing me here for a few months. I really appreciate it. It allows me to make friends here for the next years that I will be permanently attending starting next year. Of course, I am not currently sorted as of now but I will be when the time comes at the start of next year. For now, however, where would I be staying?" she asked in a rather formal way. She did not know this man too well and so she did not trust him fully.
"As your sister and friends are in the Slytherin house, you will be staying there. I trust you know where it is from your previous visits away from all those boys?"
"Yes I remember thank you sir." She nodded curtly and walked out of the room, towards the dungeons, going to the potions class first. She knew it was a Saturday so there wouldn't be a class in there but she knew for a fact, that Severus would be in there, most likely grading and marking homework's and papers.
"Hello Severus. How lovely it is to see you again." She said in a mock posh voice, though not hiding her broad smile. He chuckled and looked up at her.
"Yes it is rather lovely seeing a good friend isn't it? So what brings you here Sylvia?"
"I'm here for the next month or two to see the place and get used to going between classes but just for the morning. I have free time in the afternoon to make sure I know where each classroom is so I don't get lost as when I visit on Mondays, I only come to here and then just sit in the Slytherin common room, waiting for classes to end." She said. They held idle conversation for a few before she bid him goodbye and left for the Slytherin common room. On her way out, however, she ran into Harry Potter who had been given detention for adding too much of one of the ingredients, causing it to explode and cover half the class in a sickly green liquid that caused rashes to appear all over their arms and legs.
"What are you doing her Parkinson? I thought you went to Durmstrang?" He spat, venom lacing his every word.
"Well, if you must know, I'm here to make sure I know where all of my classes are and I'll be staying for the next two whole months. I hope that we will be able to come to some sort of mutual agreement to not try to kill each other as you and Draco do." She said, nodded curtly and walked off towards the Slytherin common room where she found her friends all sitting on the sofas and armchairs scattered around the fireplace.
"Well, I've been here before but never has it been so full." Sylvia said and as soon as the words left her mouth, Draco shot up and ran at her, pulling her into a tight hug.
"Draco I can't breathe."
"You're here! How long are you staying?"
"Yes I'm here. I've been here before but two months."
"Yeah but you've only been here for a couple of hours at a time every week before you've had to leave for Quidditch practice with your team as seeker." They sat down and were soon in a debate whether or not muggle studies and History of magic were useful or not. Blaise and Pansy were just watching the two, putting in side comments here or there until Blaise said something that made Pansy laugh, sounding more like a pig than a laugh.
"You know, if it weren't for the age and the fact I know then personally, I would think were a married couple with the way they argue about stupid things."
