Eddie knew he couldn't go home tonight, as much as he wanted to crawl into his own bed he knew would have to stay with someone else. hopefully his mother would calm down and let him be happy with who he is. and who he wants to love even if they were boys.
" would your mom mind me staying the night? I mean she must be tired from work and being pregnant, i can go ask stan or Bill if i can stay" Eddie rambled on and Richie chuckled
" calm down! of course you can stay, she won't mind let's hope my dad isn't home otherwise we need to sneak upstairs and be extra quiet" Richie said and eddie nodded
" i wish my mom was as supportive as yours is, she really doesn't mind that you are gay" Eddie said and looked at his feet in sadness
" don't mind that Bitch, Sonia just doesn't have a heart! i mean i don't know how my mom would've reacted if she wasn't sober but i suppose i got lucky" Richie said and shrugged
" well i would take it all in, maybe my mom just needs to get pregnant then my life would be a thousand times easier!" Eddie said and laughed
" could you image your mother being pregnant! She is fat enough as is, she would be the size of a double decker bus!" Richie said and the boys both broke out into laughter
They made it to the tozier residence, the house seemed empty as per usual but Richie hope his dad wasn't there.
" give me two seconds" Richie said and opened the door slowly
" mom?" Richie whispered entering the house
" hey baby why are you so quiet?" Maggie asked her son
" just thought dad was home, Eddie is staying tonight him and his mom had an awful fight. I will explain later" Richie said and his mom nodded
" hi Eddie how are you?" Maggie asked placing her hands on her growing stomach
" I am good thanks, thank you for letting me stay" he said and Maggie smiled
" well that's no problem anyway, and happy early birthday boys Richie is 16 in four days and you are in six days! Any big celebrations for your sixteenths?" Maggie asked starting a conversation
" no probably not, me and my mom aren't on great terms so I am not sure" Eddie said and sadly sighed
" well we can have cake here for both of you to celebrate, you can invite your friends over and we can make a day out of it" Maggie said and Richie smiled
" oh you don't have to do this honestly!" Eddie said and lightly chuckled
" I want to, it's my first born and his boyfriends 16 of course I want to celebrate!"
