"You came back?" Chan asked you. The beeping from the machine hooked up to him started to beeped faster, and you looked at Chan with a worried expression.

"Of course I came back. Jisung said something had happened to you, and he needed me. There was no way I wouldn't come check up on my best friend," you said. Chan slightly smiled at you before frowning.

"I'm sorry I worried you. Sorry to be such a bother," he sighed while looking away from you. Those words felt heavy on your heart, and you frowned as well. You softly grabbed Chan's hand, and he turned his head back towards you.

"You could never be a bother, don't say that," you told him softly. You noticed how his eyes glossed over with tears, and your heat broke at the sight.

"Y/n! We got you a muffin and-" Jisung stopped to gasp as he saw Chan awake the moment he stepped into the room. The smile on his face was so big as he ran towards his hyung, and it made your heart feel warm and happy.

"Chan!" Changbin was next to shout after a loud gasp as well. They both were beside his bed in an instant, and Jisung had already hugged him tight.

"You scared us so much! Please please please don't do this again okay? Talk to us, you know we're always here for you!" Jisung rambled on. The sight made you so happy that you laughed at the boys. You figured the three boys needed a moment to theirselves, so you stepped back and went to find the muffin that was for you.

After finding it, you sat on a chair and watched the three with a wide smile.

From Chan's perspective, he never felt happier to be beside his two best friends. The pain he felt before could never compare to the pain he feels now after putting the two through this. He frowns as they ramble on, and his heart sinks in his chest.

"Hyung? What's wrong?" Jisung asked after noticing the change in Chan's mood.

"Nothing it's just... I put you through this and now seeing how you two are acting after nearly loosing me, I'm sorry. I never meant to scare you guys, I... I-I was just in a dark place, a-and-"

"It's okay. None of that matters anymore. What matters is that you're here now right?" Changbin comforted his hyung, and warm tears slid down Chan's cheek. He was so grateful for the two boys who always stuck by his side.

"Right?" Changbin said again, this time dragging the word out, and Chan let out a pained smile before nodding.

"Plus look on the bright side of things- Y/n came to visit us!" Jisung smiled.

"Hm? Did you say my name?" You asked. You had slightly zoned out while the three talked, and they all shared mini chuckles at your expression. Chan smiled endearingly at you and let out a happy sigh.

For once after months, he finally knew what it felt like to be truly happy again.

His two brothers were his happiness. His music was his happiness, and now also you were becoming his happiness again.

He definitely didn't want you leaving again and taking a piece of his heart with you like the last time. He needed and wanted you to stay by his side.
