She could hardly sleep that night. And it wasn't because she was being forced to sleep on a common room couch. Bridget had invited her to sleep in her dorm room but Silvia didn't know her well enough and it felt like she was imposing, so she politely declined.

The idea of visiting a house that was that stunning had her tossing and turning. She wondered how it was built and in what condition it was, she wondered about if the weathering the house had undergone added to its beauty or if it diminished it. Most of all she wondered about the inside interior How it was decorated and if it was modernized or still Victorian with velvet furniture. She was itching to sketch out her vision if it. And she very well could considering that she didn't have any classes scheduled tomorrow. But she thought against and curled back into a ball.

She had found a couch that was closest to a heater. Even though it was barely October it got terribly cold at night, and Alexis had provided her with the thinest and scratchiest blanket in the world. Silvia tried her best to stay warm tucking her hands inside her sweatshirt and having her legs all scrunched up. It was cozy after a while and the pitter patter of rain made her feel sleepy and at peace. After a while she found herself drifting to  sleep and in the back of her mind a thought kept whispering in her ear. It was supernatural and she refused to acknowledge it but as she drifted to sleep all she could dream of was vampires hunting after her.

All night she was running through the woods tearing her clothes on branches and her bare feet scraping on the rocks. She slipped and tumbled down a hill into the mud. And she thought she was safe as she let herself heave breaths she had been repressing. Then footsteps quiet as a mouse creeped up on her from behind, she tried to scream but couldn't make a sound. The vampire placed a hand over her mouth to silence her and their fangs flashed in the light, their face hidden by the darkness. They bared their fangs and were about to bite into her neck when she woke up.

She woke up tumbling off the couch, her heart pounding. Students were already awake and dressed mingling among the common room. Some gave her weird looks and laughed as they walked by. She quickly got up and checked the time on the big clock that hung above the TV. It was already 10. She looked at herself in one of the big windows, her hair was all mangled on one side of her hair making it look as if she had been blasted by a great gust of wind. Drool stains were present at the corner of her lips.

Silvia gathered up her belongings, pillow and plans tucked under her arms and began the walk back to her room. She knocked and at door and no one answered. She knocked a little harder and was greeted by a man. At first she thought she must be at the wrong room but she looked past the shirtless man to see her roommate wrapped up in the sheets on her bed.

The man was wearing only jeans his shirt was in his hands meaning he was in the middle of getting dressed. He didn't even acknowledge Silvia, he just opened the door for her to go in and he left tugging on his shirt.

Silvia threw her pillow at Alexis and threw her other things on her bed. Alexis groaned as she got up wearing an oversized shirt and no pants. Her mascara was all smeared making her look like a raccoon."What time is it?"

"It's nearly 10." Silvia sat down in her desk chair spinning around once.

"Shit!" Alexis jumped out of her bed and raided their shared closet.

"Hey! Stop that you're throwing my clothes everywhere!"

"I've got a class at 10:30 I need to leave." Alexis tugged off her shirt and threw on an orange Halloween shirt that said Don't kill my vibe Witch. She tied it up so it fit like a crop top. She  then squeezed herself into a faded pair of blue jeans. Once she was done she walked over to vanity and began to remove her makeup with a wipe.
