Author Note Warning: I do not own the images and videos. I also do not own Persona 5 and Jojos Bizarre Adventure Series. I only own my OC. This is the first story that I wrote so go easy on me !!!!! (>-<) \(>3<)/
A young five-year-old girl wakes up from her sleep. Shivering with exhaustion with a hint of fear and confusion in her eyes she looks at the time that reads at 12:48 am.
'What was that a dream, if so then why did it feel so real?' the red-haired girl question in her head. She slightly clutched her bed-sheets trying to remind herself this isn't a dream but in reality instead.
*Knock knock*
"Lucy are you awake," a muffled voice asked through the door. The girl named Lucy got out of her bed and opened the door in which revealed a young boy who has black hair with teal like eyes who seemed to be the same age as her. Wearing a loose white t-shirt and blue sweat pants, the boy's hair is slightly messed from tossing and turning from his futon.
"Yeah, Jotaro sorry if I woke you up," Lucy apologized. She felt a little guilty for disturbing his rest. "It's okay I was already awake," Jotaro said reassuringly then paused as he looked at his childhood friend more closely. She looked like she had just finished running a mile."Are you okay Lucy, you look a little pale."
Lucy widened her eyes a little in shock, then slightly smiled to reassure him and maybe herself. 'Nothing can get past you huh Jotaro' she thought. She put her hand on forehead trying to remember her dream but sadly nothing seemed to show. She answered, " I just had this weird dream that I can't seem to remember, it's so fuzzy."
Jotaro pondered for a moment then said, "Maybe you just slept on the wrong side of the bed, it happens all the time for me... I think...by the way..." he asked with a hint of hope in his five-year-old voice, "Want me to stay with you until you go to sleep? That way we both can protect each other and won't have weird and freaky dreams."
Lucy's smile became more genuine "Yes, I'd like that very much Jotaro, after all, you did ask me if we can have a sleepover for tonight, it would be rude and not be fun to stay at my house."
The two children went to lay on Lucy's bed and covered themselves with sheets. They gazed at each other for only a few seconds then broke down into fits of innocent giggles at one another at nothing in particular.
"I'm going to protect you forever," Jotaro said all of a sudden, making Lucy's eyes widen in surprise. "That way you won't ever have to face those scary dreams alone ever again." Trying to put up a brave face at Lucy, although she didn't seem to have noticed there was a tint of pink beginning to show on his cheeks after he proclaimed his promise to 'Thank goodness it's dark' he thought to himself.
His thoughts paused when he felt a warm presence touch his hand. Lucy held his hand while smiling with her silver eyes sparkling under the moonlight, gazing at him with glowing happiness in her eyes he almost swore his face was turning just as red as her hair if he kept staring at her any longer. 'Good grief, why did she have to smile at me with that look' he thought, trying to his heart from exploding.
Lightly giggling that sounded musical to his ears she said, "Good grief Jojo, you never cease to surprise me.....thank you."
After that, the conversation was over, they slowly dozed together dreaming to their heart's content. The children don't seem to realize or don't seem to care they were still holding hands as they slept through the night.
Sadly their peaceful life together will have to eventually come to an end.
Little did they know that in 1983 a vile creature was lurking in the ocean will be awoken from his deep slumber, who will cause nothing but bloodshed and chaos.
