What’s the name and genre to your story?:
Well, in its original form it’s called “Love Cannot Save You From Your Own Fate” but for wattpad I split it into two parts: Wild Child & Realms of Bliss. They are both Historical Fan Fiction/Romance.
What made you decide to write this story?:
I have been in love with Jim Morrison since I was 17, and since I can’t actually meet him in person (unless someone invents a time machine) I decided the only way I could be with him was through my writing. I read quite a few biographies about him and saw just how incredibly interesting his life was, and after seeing how tragic it was I decided I’d try to make it easier on him in this version of his life (my story) by giving him the love interest he never had in reality: someone very similar to him on a level of intelligence and daring, as well as someone who is understanding, truly gets him and loves and supports him unconditionally.
Do you enjoy writing as a hobby or a profession?:
Just a hobby for now, but who knows what will happen in the future?
Are you working on any other projects?:
Not at the moment. I’ve been working on LCSY for 3 years and right now it’s what keeps me going. I’m devoting all my attention to this.
Is your story completed and if not when do you think it will be?:
No it is not. I do have the whole thing outlined (61 chapters in Part 2) but as there are so many chapters I can’t say when I’ll be finished. It honestly depends on how much free time I have (which isn’t much, this being my junior year of college and all.)
What would be your advise to beginning authors?:
Write about something you’re interested in, or else you’ll never be motivated. Do your research, and most importantly write from the heart. True heartfelt writing is always the best.

I don’t know if I have one in all honesty. There are so many great stories on here but I don’t think I can choose one favorite in particular.

Alright,I had to do quite a bit of digging to come up with these. And I couldn’t pick just one. Hope that’s okay.

I got a WONDERFUL review from DomDomDomDom that’s quite lengthy so I won’t copy/paste it but let’s just say it was probably the nicest comment I’ve ever gotten and was a real confidence booster!
And finally, a review from CelticRose that echoed my exact feelings about the story, so really I was just thrilled that someone got where I was coming from. She understood that Jim would not have been interested in a typical girl, and why I had to make my main character the way she is.
