*WORTH THE WAIT Episode 24*

*Ahmad's POV*

When settling down for marriage it's not about finding a pretty girl, its not about finding a girl who has one or two characters thats you like, its about finding the total package, its about finding someone who doesn't just make your make beat faster, its about finding someone who makes your heart stop.....Nadia is that person for me.

"Ahmad, if anyone had told me you will get married before me i would never have believed that person".....My friend  Saliih said.

"Me neither, i didnt plan to settle down now, sai nayi kudi (till i blow), but you know how life gets.... i found her and i didn't want to waist anytime".....I said to Salih.

"Money isn't everything...you are lucky man, i wish i could find my missing rib now, i'm not gonna waste even a sec, i ll just wife her without giving it a second thought"..... Salih said.

"Yes, rich man, rich man's son, rich man's grandson, the heir.....i hear you".....i bloated out.

"That's not it man, money isn't important".....Salih emphasized

"yea yea because it is the least of your problems"....I said to despise him.

Salih is the most humble most down to earth person i know....Despite being born and brought up in the UK, his humble nature has always baffled me. He isn't an everyday kind of guy. He is very intelligent, responsible, respectful and peaceful.

Salih and i met when i went to UK for my first degree. During our school days, he stood out, he made me a good person, he taught me the Qur'an, hadiths and several other books, living in the UK didn't make him forget his religion.

"Hey man lets go to the mall, i need to get some stuff, i rushed down here for your untimely wedding and forgot some stuff".....Salih said.

"Sure man"....i said and picked up the car keys.

We got to the mall  a few minutes later and got down to shopping.... We had snacks in one of the restaurants and sat to talk for a while.

Salih was pressing his phone when i noticed a lady walking towards us, she has been staring at us for a while, in my mind i was like "hey i'm taken, my wedding is in 3days"...... before i could complete my thoughts, the lady stood up and approached us....

"Hey".... She said looking at me..."Hi".....i replied...."This seat taken?".....She asked...."No its not"....i replied.

She sat down and looked straight at me...." I am Sophia".....She said adjusting her loose silky veil which she wore on a black beaded Abaya.

"Ahmad"....I said sipping my drink.

"So your friend.....does he talk?".....She  asked looking at him and smiling.

"Hi".....Salih said..."Hey yourself, i am Sophia".....She said.

"Nice to meet you"....Salih said smiling like he usually does.

"Nice accent, i am in a bit of hurry, can i may be get your number Ahmad?".....She said smiling notoriously.

"I'm sorry but i'm not sure my wife would like that very much".....Salih said and i looked at him popping my eyes wide.

"Oh you married?".....She asked sadly...."Well i said wife"....Salih said trying to be nice.

Sophia got up, picked up her hand bag and said "bye then"......angrily and left.

I looked at Salih and laughed...."Seriously man, married???Like seriously?"......I said laughing.

"It was the best way to get rid of her".....Salih said.

"First it was Miriam at the airport, then it was Fatiha at the restaurant, and now its Sophia at the mall,C'mon man, do you want to die a single man".....I said wondering what exactly his problem was.....

"I don't have time to play games man, i came to Nigeria for your wedding, but the main reason for my coming is to find a wife....All those girls i see in London don't have what i want in a wife".....Salih said getting up.

I got up and followed him..." I will see who will finally qualify"....i said shaking my head.
