"The only way out is down."

The real pain wasn't from the knife, the real pain was from being found. I could hear the hum of the machine's from around me, and the throbbing of my heart. When I opened my eyes I'm in a dark room. There are no machines and no people, the room is empty. Except for me and Blun "Ryan, I asked you, I told you. Yet you did not listen." when I try to speak to him, I feel like the dagger is being plunged back into me. "Bl.....Blun.... I...." Blun proceeds to talk ignoring my pain, and attempt to speak. Blun's face starts to rot, and his eyes grow a pale white, and his fingers are withered and black. "Ryan, you did this. Everything was your fault, nothing you ever did could make up for the pain you've caused, You've failed." I try to speak but he keeps on going, rotting more and more, looking less and less human with each word. "You have become so useless you can't even speak with the dead, I just make you think you can, and you fell for it. You know nothing, and will be nothing." It's hard for me to look at him, because daggers are still erupting from my throat with each word "What...... what.... Are you doing...? Yyyou... were my friend." the coldness grows in Blun's eyes, he actually laughs. "I was your friend Ryan. until you killed me." My mind takes me back to that day, six years ago.

A tall brown hair boy is running towards me, giddy with excitement. The sun is shining and I can hear Bluns laughter has he comes towards me with a vial. "Ryan, you have to look at this." I laugh alittle "what is it Blun? Is it a ghost?" younger me knew that Blun had always believed in ghosts, even though then I couldn't see them. He looked a little pale then said "No, but today we learned about this chemical mixture that explodes!" he was bouncing with joy, he always wanted to try something. It was like his big brain was always wanting to learn something new, than try it. We sneak our way to the back of the school, into a empty classroom that was riddled with experiment stains. Blun begins to mix the serum, while I stand back a safe distance. I knew something was wrong there. A gut feeling, if only I had acted. "Hey Blun, what ya doing after this?" while I am finishing the last words, Blun turns towards me hand slipping a little dropping a drop of a mixture into another. A loud cracking noise is heard has blun falls to the ground, face melting and fingers withering body spasming against the floor. His eye's turned white and then he stopped shaking, they found me curled in the corner of the room crying silently. It was then, that was the first time I saw a ghost.
