Caro's bitty adventure

Chapter 8

I sat on the bed, grinning at the bitty's hiding spot, still wondering how he got there. Seeing Blue running everywhere was kinda cute. And his bro was smirking.

"Two minutes left !"

He ran faster, climbing everywhere. I didn't notice how fast and easily a bitty could climb.

"Times up ! Congrats Lil Bro, you won ! Better luck next time Blue !"

I stood up and walked across the room to invite the new bitty to come in my hand.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Caro. How are you feeling ?"

"Sup human. I'm feeling pretty nice actually. Thanks for letting me be with my bro. I really thought I wouldn't see him again."

"You are so very welcome. I don't think I could handle that ball of sunshine by myself." I giggled. He shrugged and I put him next to Blue. "Alright, you're not supposed to be here. My parents wouldn't allow you to be here so, please stay quiet when they're home........" I pleaded.

"Alright. Not like we were going to destroy the house or anything." Shrugged Lil Bro.

Maybe we could give him a name too ? I'll think of that later. For now, I need to make dinner. Once again, I'll eat alone........... Well, not with a human being. I'm really starting to think that I'd prefer being around bitties than humans. But they're so cute......

"What do you want to eat ?"

"A taco !"

"Pizza ?"

"Heh. Sorry Blue, we'll get tacos next time, promise. But for the pizza, I can do that !"

I went down the refrigerator, grabbed my favorite flavored pizza, which actually was the only taste, heat it up and ate it with my two special friends. After eating we properly finished to watch Coco with some snacks and went to sleep. During the night I woke up to annoying noises. I didn't open my eyes from laziness, but I'm pretty sure it came from my room. I decided to make a closer inspection later. In the mor-- lunchtime, when I woke up, the two bitties were still sleeping. How can they sleep so much ? I got up and walked on something. God I hate it when I walk on things that weren't supposed to be there. I looked under my feet and found crumbs on the floor with an empty bag next to it. Did one of them eat it during the night ? I looked around and saw some crisps as well, leading to my desk. I hid the two sleeping bitties under my cover and went to see my mother.

"Hello Caroline, you're finally up ?" Greeted my mom.

"Yeah, hi. Humm, I think we have mouses in the house. There are crumbs on the floor and I swear that I didn't do that."

"Maybe you spilled some. If happens again we'll see, okay ?"

"Okay." I nodded and went back to my room to inspect that myself.

As I looked around my desk, it didn't seem as if anything was here. I grabbed my bag and lift it quickly.

"HA-AH !"

But no. There wasn't anything. Thankfully I would be the only one to know what happened.

"Pspspspsps, come here little mouse, I'm not going to hurt you~" I called. "Eventually I'd just throw you out because you don't belong here but, no hard feelings, okay ?" Maybe I should have slept a little more.

I jumped in surprise when I heard my phone ringing. I picked up.

"Goddammit Anthea you scared the hell out of me !"

"Human ! Watch your language !" Yelled a tired voice.

"Uh-oh. Sorry Blue, I didn't mean to..." I apologized.

"Wow. Blue is like your parents."

"Yeah shut it. What's up ?"

"Wanna meet up ? Like, having that freaking sleepover ?"

"Oh. Yeah sure. Tonight ?"

"HECK YES ! Okay here we go ! You better bring these bitties of yours ! And your sketchbook ! BRING YOUR ROOM !"

Wow. "Chill. I'll bring the bitties and my drawing supplies. When should I show up ?"

"Dunno. Around 6PM ?"

"Yeah okay. See you later."

I hanged up. Darn it. Maybe my plans to sleep all the week-end is sinking. Then I received a message. Form Anthea.

PS : Don't forget that we have homework !

I cursed under my breath.

"Oh, by the way, did you woke up during the night and ate all the remaining snacks ?" I question éd Blue.

"No. Why ?"

"I found crumbs and crisps on the ground. I thought it was a mouse but I didn't find it. Not like they're easy to find but still...."

"Worry not, human ! I, the magnificent Blue will find that mouse in no time !"

I giggled at that introduction. "Yeah, I believe in you, tiger. You can find it."

After an afternoon talking, playing and mostly eating, I packed up my things in my bag, and the bitties in my scarf, around my neck. We left by 5:45PM,walking peacefully toward Anthea's place. Thankfully we might be alone with those two. Soon enough we were there. I knocked on the door and she let me in.

"So, what do we do ?" She asked.
