Poison purple eyes pierced the seat in front of her. The way the ferry swayed to and fro made her sick to her stomach.

"Sweetie? Are you alright?" An old lady beside her asked, a concerned look on her face. "H-huh? O-oh... Yeah... I-I'm just a bit seasick, that's all..." the snow-white haired girl said, an unconvincing smile on her pale features. "Oh dear. Here, drink some Fresh Water- It has healing properties of my Comfey. This should help."

The girl drank a small amount of the Fresh Water, and felt better a few seconds afterward. "Thanks miss....?" She went to give the drink back, but the lady shook her head.

"Just call me Flower. Miss Flower."

"Oh... Thanks, miss flower..."

The lady nodded. "We'll be getting off shortly, child. You can see Melemele island from here."

Barely able to contain her excitement, the girl looked up out the window. "Woah... You  can!"

Suddenly, a voice boomed over the intercom. "You may now release small Pokémon."

Cries of Eevees and others filled her ears for moments. She grabbed Kalona's, her Poochyena, pokeball and took him out. He barked and snuggled up to her stomach. The lady beside her smiled, then returned to her own business.

Maybe this wouldn't be so bad.

The girl saw wild Tentacool pass by the boat, and some Magikarp. She sighed and leaned her head on the window.

Everyone rushed to get out of the boat, the girl last. Kalona was following, his fur bristled out. "Just gotta find Dad..." The girl mumbled, the word unrealistic.
Dad.
The Champion of Kalos, a little kid like her, didn't see their father often either.

The girl shrugged off her jacket and tied the sleeves around her waist. Kalona barked, and jumped on her open backpack. He settled himself inside it, almost looking like a Lilpup or something similar. Basically saying he looked adorable.

The girl shoved her hands in her pockets, her eyes on the ground.

"Hey, kid,"

The words hit her hard, almost physically knocking her back. She looked up, and saw a man with some weird glasses. He had a golden chain with a pendant on it, most likely a gang.

"Zoeulu, right? Ya mom said ta meet ya here..." he crossed his arms.

He laughed. "Okay, lemme introduce myself," he cleared his throat.

"It's the one who beats ya down, doesn't stop, and never lets up... That's right, it ya boy, big and bad GUZMA!"

The girl laughed at his tone, causing him to blink twice. A few people gave them looks.

"Well, my friends just call me Zoey. I take it your my Dad?"

Guzma laughed. "Yeah, kid. Dats me. C'mon, let's get to that house ya momma paid for."

He talks really weird... She shook her head to herself.

He started to walk off. Zoey followed, hands in her pockets.

The Pokeball Gogoat, also known as Beast, was in shook, and out came the eight feet tall mount pokemon. "Hey, Beast!" Zoey giggled, petting Beast's neck. He crouched, and Zoey swung herself on. She took her backpack off and placed it in between her and Beast, so Kalona wouldn't fall off.

Beast followed Guzma, his steps sounded like a Mudsdale's.

The black and white haired male pushed past a bush, and started down a narrow dirt road.

Beast followed, a step at a time,  his stride almost making him pass Guzma.

Finally, they came upon a house. It was a fair size, and was made of wood. There were two windows on each side of the door, which had a small bug pokemon spray painted on it. Wasn't it a Wimpod...?

Guzma put his hands on his hips. "It's cool on the inside, too. Me an' Plums decorated it."

Without question as to who Plums was, she simply responded, "Cool."

Zoey hopped off Beast, clutching the bag Kalona was in. Said Poocheyna jumped out of the backpack. "Cccchhh..." it was a growl from Kalona's throat. He trotted to the door, Zoey following. Beast stayed behind, eying Guzma.

Guzma turned to the Gogoat while Zoey was walking up to the house. "Yer pretty big fa a, whachamacallit, Gogoat?" He said, crossing his arms.

"Go-o-o?"

"I gots me a Golisopod... Howzabout you two play?"

··

Zoey was inside, admiring all the dark-punk-themed living room. She walked up the stairs, to a hallway. There were a couple of rooms, though, one of them had a sign on it.

Z's Room

She pushed open the door and threw her bag down on the hard-wood floor. Kalona ran in, and began sniffing everything.

Near the window, there was a queen-sized bed. The walls were painted a lavender purple, with a couple of pictures hung up. There was a computer desk with a laptop on it. She saw a closet, and a dresser. "Huh." She walked it.

Suddenly, she felt something scamper over her foot. "AH!" She yelped, jumping back and landing on her backside.

"Wim?!" There was a small Wimpod on the floor, right beside her leg. "What--?"

"I found this little gal all tangled up in some plastic back at Route 8," Guzma stepped over Zoey, and picked up the Wimpod. "She's harmless. Here," he sat the Wimpod on the bed. He then helped her up, and pushed her a bit closer to the Wimpod. "Pet 'er."

Zoey reached her hand out, and the Wimpod thrusted its head into her hand. "See? She likes ya already."

"I can keep her?"

"Yeah! Whacha gonna name 'er?"

Zoey shrugged. "I'll think about it. Do you have her pokeball or...?"

Guzma placed a Net Ball into her hand. "This is a good ball for her."

Zoey extended the Net Ball to the Wimpod, who tapped it with its forehead.

Wimpod went into the ball.

One.

Two..

Three...

Caught!

Guzma laughed a bit. "Oh, I let Golisopod and Beast play for a bit."
Wimpod came out of the Net Ball, onto the cover.

"Wait... Isn't Golisopod a Bug Type."

"Yeah, why?"

...

"GOGOAAT!!!" Beast ran in, terrified. "Beast! Calm down!"

A large Golisopod came in afterward.

"Oh my-- Can we move this into the Living room?!" Zoey shouted, facepalming.
