I turned around and saw the worst person ever.
Jennie.

Jennie: Hey Ji Eun! Long time no see!

Ji Eun: Um... yeah. What are you doing here?

Jennie: It's my boyfriend's birthday.

Ji Eun: You're boyfriend is Yu Ba Rom?

Jennie: Yep.

Ji Eun: C-congratulations.

Jennie: I see that you're with Jungkookie.

Ji Eun: Well-

Jungkook: Sorry, aren't you supposed to go entertain the guests or something?

Jennie then grabbed my arm and pulled me closer to her.

Jennie: She is my guest.

I got out of her grip unnoticed and went back to Jungkook.

Ji Eun: It's fine, I have sir- Jungkook.

Jennie: Oh... okay. But you have never attended any dinner like this, I'm just worried that you wouldn't get use to it.

Ji Eun: No need to worry for me, cause it looks like you're new too. Jungkook let's go.

He grabbed my hand and walked away from Jennie. I looked up at him while we were walking, his eyes, was cold yet sad at the same time. I'm a very curious person.

Ji Eun: Sir, who is Jennie to you?

Jungkook: Mind your own business.

Ji Eun: Sorry sir.

Jungkook left me alone in the middle of the ballroom. Wow, what a great boss. Then I felt someone tap my shoulders, I turned and my jaws dropped.

Jin: What are you doing here?

Ji Eun: O-oppa? o.O

Jin: Who else? By the way, Dad is here too.

Ji Eun: What?!?! Help me hide!!

Jin: He's with the Mr Jeon, don't worry. But I saw Jennie here too.

Ji Eun: Meh, I just roasted her.

Jin: Seriously?

Ji Eun: Yep!

Jin: Oh well. I have to go do some, stuff.

Ji Eun: Just be careful, okay?

Oppa left and now I'm really alone now. Not so soon though.

???: Ji Eun? Is that you?

I turned around, again, and saw my childhood friend. Jackson.

Ji Eun: Oh my gosh. Jackson?!

Jackson: It's you!! You look prettier than before!!

Ji Eun: No, I'm not. I'm still the same.

Jackson: Are you still doing that thing?

Ji Eun: No. But I still have therapy shit to do.

Jackson: I think it's best you don't curse here. It's a fancy place, people may talk bad about you.

Ji Eun: It's not like I never heard enough.

Jackson: You have to walk out of the shadow, Ji Eun! You can't live like this anymore.

Ji Eun: Thanks, but that's gonna take awhile.

I smiled weakly and walked away, trying my best to ignore his calls.

Jungkook pov.

I was talking to some partners of the company when I heard someone calling Ji Eun multiple times. A part of me wanted to go look for her, a part of me think that she'll be fine.
