I took the plate of cookies and put it on the dining tables. I also realised that this gathering was like a reunion of the family, everyone who's close to the Jeon family came, so I made a mental note to stay away from any chats. I don't want too many people to know me. I'm a very shy person. 😉

I sat next to Jungkook and everyone started eating the cookies. They all loved it, my mom's recipes won't go wrong! I looked around at the dining table and saw Jennie feeding Ba Rom cookies. She would even look at me tauntingly.

I couldn't lose her. I grabbed a cookie and put it in front of Jungkook.

Ji Eun: Aaaa

Jungkook: *whisper* What are you doing?

Ji Eun: *whisper* Just eat it.

He opened his mouth hesitantly and ate the cookie. I have reached the max level of cringe.
Jungkook then noticed what Jennie was doing and understood me.

Jungkook pov.

I saw hyung feeding Jennie cookies as well, so I did the same. Of course, I got rejected.

Jungkook: Just eat will you?

Ji Eun: I'm full.

Jungkook: Or do you need me to feed you mouth to mouth.

As soon as I finished my sentence, she took a bite on the cookie, leaving some for me. I looked at her confused.

Ji Eun: What? I told you I'm full, I can't eat anymore.

I chuckled at her response and ate the rest of the cookie. She then gasped.

Jungkook: What?

Ji Eun: You're eating your own kind!!

Jungkook: Huh? What do you mean?

Ji Eun: You're Kookie. Your eating cookies.

Jungkook: You're so childish.

She stick her tongue out and excused herself from the dining table. I scanned the people on the dining table and caught sight of Jennie giving me a signal.

Your pov.

I went back to my room first and played with my phone for a while. After roughly 15 minutes, Jungkook's still not back. So I went out to look for him. No one was at the dining area, and the place was cleaned up, so I went walked around hoping to find him.

As I was getting close to the balcony, I heard Jennie. I hid behind a wall and watched.

Jennie: I'm sorry that I left you.

Jungkook: Don't worry, I know why you left me.

Jennie: W-what?

Jungkook: You knew that hyung wasn't the illegitimate child, I was. And you broke up with me and went to Australia to meet him by "chance". The two of you got together, but you then know that father still gave me the company.

Jennie: That's not true!! I- I didn't know that he was your brother, since the two of you have different surnames!!

Jungkook: Then give me a reason why you broke up with me.

Jennie: I- I forced to... I still love you. I really do!!

And she pressed her lips on Jungkook's. That hurt, a lot. I ran back to our room. Why does Jennie like to ruin my life so much?!

Jungkook pov.

I pushed her away from me. She's disgusting. I spitted in the floor and pointed at her.

Jungkook: You're a gold digging slut. You made Ji Eun's life tough, and now you're acting innocent. You're the worse person I've ever seen.

She started shedding crocodile tears. Her face was expressive, yet only one single tears fell down her cheeks.

I turned away and headed back to my room. I stopped in front of the door, as I heard sobbing sounds. I opened the door softly and I peeked. No one was on the bed, but the sobbing came from the bathroom. I tipped toed in and stood outside the bathroom door.

Her crying somehow makes me hurt a little. It's a weird feeling that I didn't have when Jennie was crying.

I sat down on the floor and leaned my head on the wall next to the bathroom door, and waited for her to come out.

After a few minutes, she came out. I stood up and held her wrist.

Jungkook: What happened?

As expected, she pulled away. Her eyes were red and puffy.

Ji Eun: Why are you here? Shouldn't you be with Jennie? How was it? Was she tasty?

Jungkook: You saw?

Ji Eun: Saw what? I'm not supposed to see, I'm not even supposed to be here!!

Jungkook: I pushed her away. I didn't kiss back! I don't like her!

Ji Eun: I don't care!! I'm just once your secretary, other than that, I'm nobody to you. I'm nobody in this world.

Jungkook: You are!!

Ji Eun: Then tell me. Who am I?!

Jungkook: I- ...

Ji Eun: Great answer!! I agree.

And she walked out of the room. It hurts. It really does.

Your pov.

I walked out of the room and went to the balcony to cool down. On my way there, guess who I saw.

Jennie: Oh look. Little bunny is crying.

Ji Eun: Fuck off.

Jennie: I can't believe that you are with my Jungkookie now. How did you do that? Did you climb on his bed naked?

Ji Eun: Not everyone is like you Jennie. Not everyone is a slut like you.

Jennie: You're the slut!!

Ji Eun: Now that we're on this topic, I've thought about it earlier. Mark chose me, but you took him away. You made me think that I'm the slut.

Jennie: It's because you are the slut. Even if I did made you think that, you'll have to blame yourself for being weak minded.

Jungkook: Because she's my fiancée.

I felt soft lips on mine. My eyes widened at his bold act. But how could I not kiss back? Jennie stomped off and I was about to pull away, but he held on my waist and pulled me closer.
