"So we're almost there Electro... Electro?" these words from Jordin woke Electro up from the sleep he was taking on his leather seat, and he jolted up very quickly.
"I'm sorry, what was that?" asked Electro as his body still tried to go back to sleep from underneath him. He struggled to keep his balance on the leather chair, and the bags under his eyes showed how tired he still was. Jordin let out a chuckle at the sight of the tired Electro.
"Haha, I said that we're almost to Planet X. Are ya ready buddy? This is a huge step in your life, one that not even I know how big it'll be. It's like when I went to college..." Jordin looked off into the distance, as if a deep memory entered his mind. With his face blank, he spoke to Electro. "I was surrounded by weird looking idiots there, and I didn't understand the place at all." he then livened up again. "But I mean that was part of the fun of college, so I think you'll have fun on this planet. Come on now, you should liven up to the thought of this. It's a new world! Think of the amazing faces you'll see, or the fun people you can work with!"
"I'm excited to see a new world, but I'm not excited for the danger down there." Electro said as he then looked out his window once more. This time he looked out, he did not see his second home planet this time however. "How far away are we from Glim-53?"
"Well, I'd say about fifty planets away. That would have been a few light years, but we took the inter-portal dimensional planetary transit system. Or the IPDPTS for short."
"What's that?" asked Electro as he rubbed his eyes, for they hurt from looking at the bright stars around him.
"It's basically a cheap form of teleportation. It's also one of the seven wonders of the universe, can you believe that? I suppose it did take them millions of years to complete it however, so that makes up for the lack of pure wonder that it should hold. Anyways, it shouldn't be long until we are there. Do you have your things still packed?"
"Yeah, it's in my bag over there." Electro said as he pointed to his old blue bag (one made from the cloth of his destroyed dummies). "I'm ready whenever you are." he said with a smile and tired look on his face.
"Haha, alright kid. Just strap yourself in again, we'll be there soon enough." Jordin then walked away laughing. Electro grabbed the black straps that sat around him, and he strapped himself in for the landing. When he looked out the window once more, he could see Planet X coming up quickly. The planet itself looked mostly white, and the waters of the planet looked to be frozen. Many spaceships were around them, and he even saw a space prison right beside them as they flew. While he didn't see who was inside of that station, he could only assume the worst people in the galaxy were housed there. The closer they got to the surface of Planet X, the clearer Electro could see the towns and cities that inhabited the planet. The buildings of this snowy planet were all cylindrical (much like the ones on his old planet), and most of the people were the size of Electro and Jordin. He looked out in amazement as he saw the gathering of townsfolk on the streets, and he adored how he saw so many working. From doing construction work in the city, to driving people around, everyone in the town seemed to have something to do with themselves. When their spaceship entered the atmosphere of the planet, the people looked up for a split second, but then returned to their work. Some people looked at the queer emblem on the side of this ship, yet most did not pay attention to it. Jordin's ship found and landed at a free landing pad, and their hatch opened up. Walking out the patch as smoke went off around them, Electro and Jordin walked onto the planet's cold surface. Though the surface of the planet was far colder than what Electro was used to, he used a small amount of power from his unity cube to keep him warm throughout his body.
