The company of six knights returned to their kingdom that night after the foul meeting with King Denumus. As they walked, none of them spoke with one another, for they knew they had failed at both kingdoms. Not one kingdom said they would help fight, and the only help that could come was from the archers of Brailson, if their people wished to fight alongside Belmario. The trip from Belmario to Galstrum was a rather light trip as it was over flat grasslands, yet the knights took their time to stop and admire the world as they knew it. For once it seemed as if the world was at peace, and all was calm on our Earth... or so it seemed. When the six knights made it home in the next evening, they were baffled by all soldiers of Belmario in battle formation. Surrounding the kingdom of Belmario were hundreds of thousands of knights in rows, and they all stood ready to fight. The five knights found their places in the formation, while Ulric walked to the front of the ranks. At the very front of the thousands of soldiers was King Indicius, and at his right hand was his son, Royand. Ulric ran up to speak with King Indicius about the knights discussions with both kingdoms.

"Well." said Indicius before Ulric spoke to him. "Will either of the two surviving kingdoms of Earth come to our aid? We need them now more than ever, for a noise over the mountain has been getting louder and louder."

"No, no they will not come to our aid." said Ulric. "They both said this battle would cost their kingdoms too much, and that they would not risk the safety of their people for us. I am afraid we should not receive any help from Brailson or Galstrum."

"I can understand their wishes to some extent, yet I wish they would have considered the idea. I also believe that it should be a kingdoms decision if they are to risk their lives for battle. We will have to face this foe by ourselves in that case."

"My lord." questioned Ulric as he looked behind himself. "Why have you summoned our kingdoms warriors to the grasslands? We have no word on when the armies of Hell will march to our kingdom, so what is the rush to get them out here? Did something happen while my company and I were away?"

"To answer that question Ulric, you must stop speaking, for that is the only way you can hear it." Ulric then stopped speaking for the first time, and he could hear a terrible thing to hear. Seemingly thousands of kilometers away from them was the sound of hundreds of thousands of feet hitting the ground. Though faint, you could tell these armies were walking towards Belmario. As the armies marched to Belmario with one another, few low-pitched horns went off. The sound of a horn from Hell is an eerie sound, and it is one that makes the earth shake when you are beside it. Even though the low-pitched sound of the horn and the footsteps of thousands of soldiers seemed like they were kilometers away, the knights were still worried of the enemy they may soon face.

"Wow." said Ulric in shock of the distant noise he heard. "So it is true, the armies of Hell will soon march upon Belmario." Ulric in this instance understood now why the knights that were in formation around Belmario's walls were visibly scared.

"I fear our army may not be enough." said Royand to his father as Ulric too began to become scared of what was to come. He then informed Ulric of what happened while he was away. "The noise started the day after Indicius spoke to the son of darkness, and it has been getting louder and louder with each passing day." (with the trip to the kingdom of Galstrum being roughly onenday, this meant the noise had been getting louder and louder for one whole day now) "We are the strongest kingdom on Earth, yet we may not have the army to defeat these warriors. Our one hundred thousand men could not make noise like that, even if we tried"

"Do not say that my son." said Indicius to Erkling. "Our armies have been well prepared for the war against darkness, and our flag men will come back to tell us how many there are. We all knew this day would come, and we are prepared for it." Ulric then looked up, and noticed that there were two knights with flags climbing up the side of the mountain that was in front of them. One knight carried a blue flag and the other knight held a green flag in his hands. As the two men walked up to the very top of the mountain, they seemed to pause in a shock. The green flag then shot up, and that caused the soldiers of Belmario to start talking to one another almost immediately. The green flag symbolized millions of warriors on the other side, while the blue flag symbolized hundreds of thousands. Out of nowhere the twenty Reapers appeared right next to the two knights on the hill, and they attacked both of the knights. The Reaper's ghost like green bodies pounded fear into the knights who watched in the distance, and some turned away from looking at the figures. The two knights raised their swords to defend themselves, but the swords of the Reapers were transparent and went right through the knight's swords. The knights were in shock when the swords of the Reapers passed through theirs, and they each were struck in the lower chest. The two knights were then killed in cold blood at the top of the mountain.
