Turn the world upside down,
I'm happy,
I'm optimistic about what's to come.
Life can give you the pain,
It's what you do with it that matters more,
So, why not be a butterfly than a moth?
Don't hide away,
Don't stay wide awake,
Thinking something's going to go wrong,
Dreaming your nightmares that'll let you fall.
Why not look on the bright side of life?
Things may be sad, pathetic and miserable,
It's not really that dramatic at its root,
Find the base of all your sadness,
I wish you well,
Why not be happy if you don't remember what that's like?
As days go by,
Things don't change,
You do,
I do,
The world does.
We can't be sure of anything,
But we know that we live for a purpose of living life,
If I'm going to feel the sorrow seep through my skin to my heart and mind,
I'd be burning my soul alive then cooling it down.
Why not see what's handed as they are,
Why not stop overthinking everything in your path,
Why not look on the flip side,
You'll get the answers you never knew you needed,
Why not?
If you keep yourself isolated,
Never find joy,
It'll be pretty boring,
Sunshine will be your very poison,
How do you exist?
Why not be positive,
Why not feel for greater things than let yourself down with your somber,
Why not stop putting pressure on yourself.
Get your own place,
Live in space,
Galaxies await you,
Think of all the good things you can do,
Change your perspective,
It'll be better for me and you.
Why not?
