Locked away

How they met

While Ray was asleep on Zack's lap the others couldn't help but notice how protective he is when it comes to her. It doesn't take an genius to figure out he cares for her, you can tell just tell by the way he acts around her. The only thing that was bugging Jyugo and the others was how they met and what made them so close.

"Um, Zack was it?" Nico asked being as brave as he could.

"Ya, what do you want?" Was the answer he got from Zack.

"Um, can we ask you something?" Nico said while hiding behind Rock.

"Sure, got nothing else to do, besides Ray's asleep so I might not be able to answer your questions very well till she wakes up, but I can try and answer them the best I can." Zack said while he moved hair out of Ray's face.

"How did you two meet? And what made you so close?" Uno asked while behind Jyugo.

"Close? What do you mean by that? We aren't close at all." When Zack said that all four of them gave him a look that said what they all were thinking, really, was all Zack could practically hear jusy by looking at them. With that he sighs and continues. "Fine I'll tell you, how we met was different then how you'd prefer to meet someone."

"How so?" Rock was the one who spoke up this time while tilting his head to the side a bit.

"Tried to kill her, almost did too." Zack said almost too calmly. This shocked everyone, not because of what he said, but how he said it was what made it even scarier.

"YOU WHAAAAAAT?!" Was all you could hear from the four idiots, then they hear a slight yawn.

"What? What's going on?" Asked a tired Ray who woke up because of the yelling.

"DID HE REALLY TRY TO KILL YOU?!" Uno asked, well yelled. The only response they got was a nod from her confirming what Zack had said.

"He almost succeeded too, but he didn't as you can see." Ray said almost if not exactly as Zack did. This nearly made the others faint but they didn't thankfully.

"Ok if that's what happened then how are you two so close?" Jyugo was the one who asked this time.

"He promised to kill me but we agreed he wouldn't since he told me he couldn't kill me, I say it's more he wouldn't kill me than couldn't." Ray said as she looked at Zack who just rolled his eyes but didn't deny it.

"Wait why did he promise to kill you?" Rock asked looking at them.

"She asked me to, and it turned into a promise." Zack said while Ray just nodded.

"Ok.... But why did you ask him to do that?" Jyugo asked.

"........ Its, complicate to say the least..... And a long story..." Ray said while avoiding eye contact with the others.

"You do know this is prison, right, we have nothing but time to listen so-" Uno was cut short of what he was saying when Zack punched the wall.

"She doesn't want to talk about it so leave it." Zack said with a bit of a growl in his voice. you could tell he was mad and was trying to protect Ray who looked like she was about to cry. Zack pulled Ray into a tight but gentle hug.

"Um, I'm sorry if we upset you, we just wanted to know more about you two is all." Nico said as he came out from behind rock.

"Well what about you four?" Zack said as he rubbed Ray's back.

"What about us?" Uno asked as he leaned on Jyugo.

"I mean why are you here?" Zack asked.

"Eh nothing special, Rock was caught while he was fighting in the streets but broke out of jail because of the food, I was caught gambling in an underground casino but I'm good at lock picking, Nico was exposed to a bunch of different drugs not even knowing it at first but was able to brake out Jyugo is just WAY to good a breaking out and into places and was transfered here because of it." Uno explained as he pointed to everyone and explained.

"Have you broken out of here yet?" Ray asked looking at Jyugo.

"Not entirely, yet but I don't fully plan on doing so." Jyugo explained.

"Ok that's stupid, if I had the talent you do and my scythe I'd be out of here in no time, with Ray too that is. Unfortunately the took my scythe the moment I got to to jail then the sent it here, as far as that goes I have no clue where it is." Zack explained.

"A scythe? Huh when it comes to weapons its probably held in the vault used to hold things like that. They hold any and all criminals weapons there." Rock said.

"Oh? Really now?" Zack said and smirked.

"Zack no we are not doing that." Ray said.

"Do what?" Nico asked looking over at the two.

"I was just planning on breaking out of here, breaking into the weapons vault, then get the hell out of here. And since Ray and I don't know our way around here, I was thinking. You four get us to the vault, once I get my scythe, I'll get all six of us out of here. Might be a bit bloody but hey, we will be free." What Zack said scared and got the others attention, they did want to get out of here and be free but at the same time they never delt with anything that comes to murder.

"Zack no." Ray said.

"Oh come on Ray, its not like you and I haven't done anything worse than this. So what's the big deal?" Zack said looking at her.

"Worse?" All four of the others said.

"Ya but hey if things go well it won't go that way, but hey if it doesnt go to plan, at least it'll be fun." Zack said with a wicked smile.

The four of them looked at one another then to Zack and Ray. They moved away from them and started talking about what they should do, should they stay or should they go? 

Will they see the outside world once again? Or will they be caught in a blood bath that doesn't end well for anyone? Who's to say exactly only Zack and Ray can say for sure.
