Hajime's choice

Ever since Hajime transferred Ray to a different building, Zack has been acting weird, well weirder. The prison guards finally managed to separate Zack from his scythe, but he practically handed it over.

Instead of fighting about what's going on or with his cell mates he just lays around mopping and uninterested about everything basically. The only time he does anything is when he gets to visit Ray, then he's trying to fight his why there. Guess she really is Zacks rock for well, life.

Every time Zack sees Ray, the light in her eyes starts getting brighter every time she saw him and only him. That was making Zack both really happy and really sad all in one, because of his promise to her.

"Ray remember our promises?" Zack asked looking at the girl sitting infront of him.

"Ya, what about it?" She asked confused as to why he brought it up. Sighing he continued knowing he's going to hate himself and that she might hate him as well but will understand.

"I..... I can't go through with it..... I just can't." Zack tried to get it out in one go but since he hates liers he hates himself for going back on his word. But he was doing so for her not so much for himself.

"What do you mean, you promised-" before she could finish what she was saying Zack said the one thing that has been bugging him for quite a while now.

"I can't go through with it because I love you Ray, and I can't live without you." Ray was quiet for a while. She didn't know how to respond, it was true she loved him and couldn't live without him either but she never thought that he felt the same way.

"This is the first time you've lied to me, but also didn't lie to me at the same time. In all honesty I didn't think you would say anything like that and be so honest with it. You're the killer, I'm the victim, what you say goes I guess." Zack didn't fully understand what she ment but did understand one thing for sure, she loved him as much as he loved her.

"So does that mean I don't have to kill you?" Ray knew Zack wouldn't fully understand what she ment but nodded confirming what he had asked.

The whole time Hajime and Kiji were watching in order to stop Zack if he were to do anything to Rachel. They don't think that he'd hurt her but something else even if she said it was ok.

"So what do you think, keep them together or keep them separated?" Hajime asked Kiji who really didn't know how to answer the question.

"Honesty Honey and Trois actually like having her around, they like to do her makeup and hair, not to mention dress her up in cute outfits that go with her complexion."

"So keep them separated?" Kiji shook his head.

"No, but if they were to be kept together then Honey and Trois would like to still be able to dress her up and things like that. So as long as she's able to come here or they are able to go to her they will be glad to help in any way possible." With that Hajime nodded.

"Alright if that's the case then it's both of our choices. Whether she stays with you or comes back to my building." Nodding at what Hajime said they went back to watching Zack and Rachel only to see Rachel sitting on Zacks lap asleep.

"You know you two don't have to try and hide, right?" Both Hajime and Kiji jumped when they heard Zack call them out like that so they walked over to him and Rachel.

"How did you know we were there?" Kiji asked as Hajime nodded.

"I could hear you two talking and felt your presence. It's not that hard when you are quite close. That and when you spend most of your life running from the cops you learn how to trust your instincts." Zack said casually.

"Right, anyway what do you think would be best since you know better than us." Kiji asked.

"She should stay with me, by the way she's sleeping it shows she hasn't been sleeping very well since not being by my side. And when it comes to the whole dress up thing she just let's it happen she doesn't really like it but she doesn't want to be rude so she let's them." Kiji nodded again.

"So you're saying she's been acting like this because she hasn't been by your side?" Zack nodded at what Kiji asked.

"So in other words we should let her stay with you but what building do you prefer?" Hajime asked.

"The one we first went to. I kinda liked hanging with those four idiots. Not to mention the smell of perfume here stinks and bothers me." Hajime nodded and looked at Kiji.

"Looks like the three of us will be leaving but feel free to let the two come over and what not." Hajime nodded and motioned for Zack to follow him. Zack did as told and stood up carrying Ray in his arms.

When they got back to their cell Zack sat down and held Ray in his arms while she sat in his lap sleeping. The four idiots returned to the cell to see Zack and Ray back and in their usual spot in the cell.

"You're back? Why's Ray here I thought she was transferred?" Jyugo asked.

"Ya she was but she was transferred back since she hasn't been doing so well so she was aloud to transfer back." They all nodded at that and went back to whatever it is they chose to do. So all and all things went back to normal, some what that is.
