In the days of the kits being there, Stormberry kept to herself. She couldn't look at them without feeling glum and angry. Every time she saw them with Moringlove she thought those are my kits! You can't have them! Before she had to remind herself that they weren't hers anymore...
She did notice that they seemed attached to Alderflame. She thanked Starclan for that. At least that was alright.
They would ask him to share stories and teach them battle moves. He would oblige as long as he wasn't busy.
"Mistykit and Tabbykit seem to have an attachment to Alderflame." Goldenheart had commented as she lied on her nest in the elder's den while Stormberry checked her breathing. "Mm." Stormberry hummed, attempting to sound distant. Goldenheart glanced at her and chuckled. "What's so funny?" Stormberry inquires as she adds some more feathers to the nest for warmth. "You! Don't lie to me-you like those kits! They're like your own children if you had any." Suddenly Goldenheart pauses. "Unless... no. Forget I said anything." She murmurs, before falling asleep. Stormberry's ears flatten.

Anyway, sorry I can't give you more (it doesn't help that it's 7:56 in the morning) I have a chapter of Love Stories to write!
I'll update soon-the next chapter will be more interesting I promise!
And then, we can actually get into the meat of the story (well... sort of, Mistykit and Tabbykit have to discover their callings first...)
