(A/N: First bit is based slightly on a great rp of this I'm doing with TomHelios as in some of the dialogue and such. I wanna say thank you and so far you have been doing a fabulous Rixon (also figured I'd say that you can have him react whatever way you feel, you don't have to go completely by the story since we've started). I also want to thank GingerSnaps189. I really appreciate that you two were willing to do the rps, it has helped me tremendously so thank you both again. I hope you all enjoy!!)
Rixon had started another round of cards, not that Adonis minded, he had the watch and his pacifier to keep him occupied.
What are you thinking for your nursery, little man?
Adonis blinked, startled again, it had been silent a fair while, he pouted a little bit as he thought.
Rixon added, glancing to Adonis with a smirk.
I was thinking of it being a nice pretty pink?
Adonis furiously shook his head.
Nooo! Pink fow giwls! Wan..... dagons... wots of dagons and........ angel wings.
You want angel wings in your nursery?
Rixon arched a brow subtly at Adonis but the little merely nodded.
Adonis didn't like the as angels, archangels specifically and he knew Rixon didn't either. They were stuck up and thought they were better or something just because they hadn't fallen.
So much for a 'family like system'.
Regardless of that, it was a good reminder of home which on few late nights Adonis did find himself missing.
I'll see what I can do with that, little fallen. And just to be clear, you want pink walls?
Adonis groaned a little and nuzzled into Rixon's neck in frustration a few moments before peeking his hazel eyes back out to continue playing with the watch. Smiling ever so faintly behind the pacifier as he saw one of the dragons on the side become more apparent in its teal color as the lights flashed over it.
"You know, watches aren't made for kids? It was a lot of money," the previous owner grumbled. Rixon casted his gaze down to Adonis.
He was tempted to give a snide remark back that it was his watch now to do with as he pleased but another part was merely curious of the reaction he'd get. Going with the latter, he gently pried the watch away from Adonis.
Adonis was shocked, blinking baffled a few seconds before whining and trying to grab it back, Rixon held it just out of his grasp.
"Give it!! It mine, mine!" Adonis demanded, balling his hands up in fists out of frustration.
"It is not yours, silly baby. It's dada's and judging by this reaction, you've had plenty of time with it." he scolded, sitting it back in the pile of his winnings.
Seeing it now in his reaching range, Adonis moved for it. Rixon, however, despite knowing it wasn't going to really hurt, swatted him on his thigh.
As he assumed, it didn't hurt but it did make Adonis jerk in surprise and look at Rixon in shock.
"Dada said no, little man," he replied simply though his gaze remained on the cards he had in his hand.
Adonis whined and grunted angrily, "I shaid I wan it!! It mine! Mine, mine, mine, mine!"
If Rixon had ever forgotten that Adonis was fallen due to greed, this would've been his sharp reminder.
"Not yours, now, hush. You are being very naughty," he scolded, still maintaining perfect attention on his cards, as if he didn't have a tantrum from h÷ll about to unleash.
Adonis made fists again. He started kicking and bouncing himself, even hitting Rixon's chest, while the hits weren't gentle, Rixon did note that they were also far from how hard he could manage to hit. He knew very well from experience.
"Mine! Mine! Miiiiiiiine!!"
The humans all looked a bit stunned to see Adonis literally having a tantrum like a child denied a toy, a painfully good comparison to the situation at hand, and how calmly Rixon seemed to be about it. It was as if nothing at all was happening on his lap.
Still, Rixon did grab one of Adonis's wrists, giving a small squeeze, not enough to really hurt but enough to show both that he was serious and to definitely be an attention grabber. Rixon's eyes finally moved over to Adonis and had the same stern look they had last night.
It is not yours. This is your last warning to stop and behave. You need to remember rule 3. You do as dada says when he says it without fuss.
Adonis wanted to look away but couldn't seem to do it. He couldn't seem to do anything until something did happen. Tears swelled up in his eyes and his bottom lip started to tremble. Making him nearly loose his hold on the pacifier. He hiccupped softly followed by a little whimper.
Rixon responded with releasing his wrist and sitting his cards down face first, shifting Adonis to a cradling position.
The little gave a hiccup and tried pushing away, weakly so meaning he couldn't get away.
"No, nooooo, I'm big boy."
"Clearly not," Rixon retorted. He made sure his arm could hold Adonis before allowing his other to lift his cards back up.
"Someone is acting like a ittle, wittle baby. Having a little tantrum and crying."
"I not cwying!" Adonis snapped and gave up on his futile attempts to get away. He rubbed his eyes instead.
"Aww poor baby boy," Rixon cooed, "all worked up."
You want to act like a tiny baby, little man, dada will comply. I told you this would happen if you didn't listen to my rules.
Adonis, out of frustration and hoping it'd somehow get him out of the punishment, started to sob, the pacifier fully falling from his mouth and thankfully safely onto his own and Rixon's laps.
