Dray's POV
---------------
The first day of school since the crash.

I wonder what people had heard or read about it.

Since my usual ride to and from school was still in the hospital, my only choice of transportation was my dad.

We pulled into the parking lot and my dad jumped out to open the door for me.

Not many people knew I was the principles son, but the few who did and knew about the crash stopped to stare as I got out with my crutches.

I didn't think it possible, but that moment got worse.

"Draven!!" Sierra shrieked as she hurtled towards me.

Unable for a quick escape with my crutches, she grabs my arm and holds onto it tight.

"Are you okay!??!?! Oh I was so worried!!" I lean back trying to avoid her attempts to kiss my cheek.

My dad chuckles. "Dray, you never you told me you had a girlfriend!?"

I finally shake of Sierra. "I don't."

My dad looks at her funny "oh, well, off to class you go." He shoo's away Sierra.

"Thanks." I mumble and make my way into the school.

People stare and whisper as they've always done when i've passed through the halls.

But this time was a little different since Ray wasn't here.

The whispers weren't as hidden and I could here a couple snippets of conversations.

"They crashed-"

"-hospital-"

"-make a move-"

"-she's not here-"

I stare straight ahead until I reach my locker.

So they were happy she wasn't here? That Ray was still in the hospital?

They didn't approach us when Ray was here, and now that Ray isint here, they finally get the courage to come up to me and talk.

I chuckle to myself.

They were afraid of Ray.

"Hey Dray!" A group of girls pass me, wave, then giggle and hurry off the class.

Before anything else like that could happen, I quick open my locker, put my backpack in, grab what I need, and race to class as fast as I could with crutches.

[time skippy! cuz who just doesn't love those??]

I sat at my usual spot in the cafeteria, but sadly, not alone.

"I cried when I heard you were in that crash," Sierra put a hand over her heart and nodded. "I would of gone to visit you in the hospital, but I made it my duty to comfort others who were also devastated."

"That's so kind of you!" One of Sierra's friends spoke up.

I ignore them all as I eat, occasionally glancing around to make it seem like I was listening.

Sierra started to notice, but the bell rang and I quickly dump my tray.

Seeing as I was on crutches, it wasn't that hard to catch up with me.

"Want me to walk you to your locker?"

"Go away, Sierra."

"Oh you, as silly as ever!" She giggles.

"No! Sierra! I'm being serious! Go away!" I glare at her, daring her to say one more stupid thing.

Without saying anything, she stops walking next to me.
