Hermione tried to avoid her "best friends" for a couple of weeks now, and Draco seemed not to exist anymore. She barely saw him around but if she does see him, he tried avoiding her eyes and always left the aria she was in immediately. Harry had already left the hospital Wing 3 days after they had fight. He tried to start a conversation with her ever since, but she succesfully ignored him and carried on with her classes and studies. She wondered herself as why he wanted to talk to her, but she shoved this thought in the back of her mind, she hadn't got any nerve for a conversation about him talking how immature and ridiculous she was and that she betrayed her best friends. She hoped that he would never get to confront her, unfortunately that day came...
Hermione ran through the empty corridors late that night. She had been reading in the library and totally forgot the time. She used to tell the others (well, Ginny and Luna) that she would learn for the next essays, even though she was finished with them over a month ago. The truth is, she spent hours in there researching any more informations about the Demon-wolf. She had promised Draco that she would help, and she will not break that. Just as she wanted to turn the corner she bumbed into someone causing her to fall. She scratched her head and mumbled a sorry before standing up and eying the person she ran into.

Her face instantly lost all of her emotions and crossed her arms in front of her chest. "Harry..." she sighted. Harry looked at her in relief as she didn't backed away nor even just left. He took that as a chance to talk to her.

"Hello Hermione" he said a bit quickly only to make sure she wouldn't left. As she didn't seemed to, he calmed down and continued on talking. "I-i uhm.. well, how are you? i haven't seen you in a while." she just mumbled a "fine" and then looked down in akwardness. "Well, uh great... that's really good. I just wanted to-" but he got cut of by her, still looking down. "Harry, look i know what you wanted to say... but i can't stand that anymore. Just give me time... i-i-" she mumbled and she realised a few tears running down her cheeks.
