When you fall asleep

As I expected first thing this morning Seulgi would be stuck in the bathroom, completely neglecting the bucket I set for her next to her bed. Always responding with "I had enough time to make the bathroom and the bucket stayed clean. A win-win situation?" Followed by my usual sigh and her charming smile. I still hold her hair and caress her back following a distinct pattern. Even though this immature woman drives me mad. Mad I tell you.

"So what's my grade?" She asked while washing her face and grabbing a toothbrush. So as usual I rate her behavior of the previous night. But knowing she lost all memories I joke around to get rid of any suspicions. "Well you did call Jimin and asked him to marry you but.." Of course it was a joke but that didn't stop her from screaming her lungs out. "I did what?! I swear Baechu if you're kidding" she threatened while pointing her toothbrush at me. "Oh and the tattoo" I continued.

The slow bear finally understood the joke. "I give you 3 seconds" So with that being said I ran away pleading for forgiveness. The 3 seconds where not even fair considering she trained every day and the last time I trained was 8 years ago, when some douche told me I was too fat. As a young girl in a country in which beauty standards are unreachable, I believed him. So I started losing weight. But ended up gaining more because of the silly girl running behind me. She noticed my behavior so she made it her life goal to give me food at any given time.

She attacked me from behind and started tickling me. "Eight, that's my score" I said between my hysterical laugh hoping she would let me go. "Just an eight?" She said turning me around and holding me by my waist, like she was performing a dance routine. "Well I did have to carry you on my back all the way up here" she pulled me even closer to her. "I'm sorry. Are you okay?" She asked me with sincerity reflecting from her eyes. "Am I ever not?" Creating a moment of silence with just us looking into each others eyes.

She ended the moment by pulling me into her arms and caressing my hair. "You have no idea how thankful I am for having someone like you in my life" the pace of heart quickened as I buried my head into the nape of her neck. "Thank you, I love you"

That was all I needed to convince myself that everything that happened the previous night was worth it. Even though she couldn't remember the kiss and it was probably meant for someone else or just a drunken mistake. She loves me and I love her. Although we love each other in a different way she will still always be my Seulgi.

She pushed me back to create a bit of space. "Also, Jimin? Come on, couldn't you at least choose someone I'm slightly attracted to? He has a boyfriend, you know" Well obviously I did not, so a huge smile painted my face. "Go shower! I'll make you some breakfast, anything you want!" she turned around walked to the bathroom and vanished into her room.

As I was about to start making breakfast Seulgi's room door opened revealing only her face, making me believe she had already gotten out of her pjs. "Can you make it to go? Emergency meeting at work" An apologetic smile resting on her face. So I checked my phone and noticed I had about 26 missed calls. "Oh fuck I didn't.." I started but as I looked up she had already went back into her room. So I made her her fave to go breakfast, packed everything up and went to get ready myself.

I finished doing my make up and walked out of my room noticing Seulgi had been sitting on the couch already sipping her coffee. "Let's go" I said while taking the opportunity to check her out. She was wearing a black oversized Nike sweater with matching black harem pants and her knocked off all-stars. Reacting to my voice she looked up and nodded her head. Right before leaving she put on her favorite black baseball cap and off we go. She never put much effort into her outfits but she still looks so hot. Unfortunately the (now fixed) elevator interrupted my thoughts.

Arriving at work was not very pleasant. It was total chaos. "Joohyun finally! I have been calling the entire morning" Taeyeon the owner of our company said leading me away from Seulgi and into her office. "What happened?" I asked her. I have never seen her this worried. Being the professional she is there has never been any company issues. "A photo came out" I encouraged her to keep on going. "To cover this up is your job Joohyun you are their manager" One of my kids was evolved in a rumor? Why have I not heard anything about this? "What was in the picture?"

"Seulgi and Jimin. They were practicing for their upcoming performance but the way the picture was taken" She stopped and took a deep breath. "Joohyun it's bad. Seulgi's fans are outraged and not to mention Jimin's" he's gay, he's not her type, he has a boyfriend. I tried to calm myself, being a part of 'Seulgi's fanclub' I could definitely see why they were outraged. "I'll take care of this. Don't worry"

But first I had to see Seulgi now. "I'll come to your office once I have this cleared" without giving her time to respond I rushed towards Seulgi. She was sitting on the ground of a practice room with Lalisa and Momo probably discussing the pictures telling by her shocked expression. "Lisa, Momo, out" I said they bowed towards me and left while making jokes about Seulgi getting told of by her jealous wife. Like usual.

Seulgi stood up quickly defending herself. "Baechu, you know I would never. You trust me, right?" She said pleading. I noticed my behavior was definitely out of hand. I pressed my fingers against the temple of my head and took some deep breaths. "We were practicing Hyunie, nothing more. It was just at a bad angle" She pulled me into her arms. "Jimin and I would never happened, okay?" She tried convincing me some more like she owed me an explanation. "For now stay away from him he is not in our group. As your manager I'm telling you to practice alone or with the crew. That's it for now. I will find out who leaked these".

"Seulgi" I started taking a deep breathe. "Don't go on your phone today, not until this is fixed. Okay?" The cruelty of jealous fans is something I don't want her to go through again. Seulgi is a softy. Words hurt her more then anyone would expect. She nodded before pulling me into a close hug again.

I pulled away giving her an assuring look. "I'm going to talk to Bogum now. We'll come up with something!" I said while leaving her in her practice room.

How can she be the reason why my heart aches and my heart flourishes. For my sadness and happiness. How long am I gonna take this.
