Have I turned insane?

The answer is yes, yes I have. Can you blame me though? "Yes Joohyun I can and actually, I will" Seungwan responded to my mumbling, while still keeping her eyes on the road. "You are saying you want to date me. Not to mention, the only purpose of dating me is to make Seulgi understand you are into girls" a silence fell upon us. "Therefore, the least you can do is take the blame" she chuckled. Okay this might sound crazy, however I thought it through.

Listen up. "Seulgi might like me. She might like me. And the only reason she does not take action is because she thinks I like guys" I explained to Seungwan. It makes perfect sense to me, doesn't it?!

"So what if you end up liking me? Then we're doing all of this for nothing. I don't see the point, just move on from her already" I don't think I have ever witnessed a frustrated Wendy. One more word and she'll start pulling her hair out. "First of all, I'm sorry to break it to you but I will not fall in love with you. You are you and I am me" honestly why would she even expect that to happen, ha funny. "Moreover, I tried moving on and I failed. She's my soulmate"

"Okay well let's say she doesn't take action after knowing you like girls what will you do then?"

"If she doesn't it is because she thinks I am in love with you so we just break up or maybe she doesn't want to ruin our friendship so I'll just slowly show her that I am interested. Then she'll make a move and-"

"You will live happily ever after? Come on Joohyun I had higher expectations from you. You sound hopeless"

"Well maybe I am Wendy but I won't stop until we at least had a go at it"

And so we spend another 20-minute ride arguing about my decision. Will she decline my offer? No, of course, she wouldn't. Everyone knows Wendy would do almost anything to make me happy. So from now on, she is my girlfriend. Cringe. I do not like the sound of that. I said my goodbye to Wendy and walked towards the entrance of our company.

If anyone tells me this plan will fail I will personally hunt them down. This is a waterproof plan. No way in hell I will let it fail. Just another two weeks to a month and Kang Seulgi is mine. I have waited for this moment almost my entire life.

This is the way I see it. If she wasn't my soulmate I would have given up at some point and the butterflies or honeymoon phase should have been long gone. Yet I'm still hopelessly in love with her. Everyone knows Seulgi is quite oblivious to what is happening around her. One of her friends Sunmi used to be deeply in love with Seulgi. Everyone knew, including me. The bear, however, was in utter shock when finding out. She declined the offer of the date but she didn't say 'I'm straight sorry'. Any straight person would have used that excuse. She didn't. Doesn't that mean she would at least be bi-curious or in general be willing to try any kind of relationship out.

The younger girl never told me she got such a confession. But rumors flew around the company and so I heard. Someone told me she said she has been in love with someone else. I know the possibility is small but what if that someone is me. Which would explain why she never told me about Sunmi's confession. All these things just add up to each other and one thing I've learned from all is that I will only give up when she moves on or if she directly turns me down.

"Irene you're early! Today Seulgi sleeps in, why are you here already" Bogum said confused. Yes, my schedule is made around hers but I couldn't have just stayed home after what happened this morning. "Yea I'm just a little anxious. I still need to finish the video of Jimin and Seulgi before 2 p.m" another lie. Lately, it's all I do. Lie after lie. The video does need to be published around two but I can just delegate it to the marketing team. Editing this specific video shouldn't take longer than an hour anyways. "And that's another episode of Joohyun's insanely boring life"
