"She kissed me" And so I explained the situation earning a deep sigh from the younger girl. "Well that's not exactly what I expected when you oh so dramatically said" she stood up preparing her self for the role she was about to play.

"Seulgi-bear honey boo boo kissed my oh so inviting lips with her plump strawberry tasting lips. She told me we should run away together and get babies. " horribly mimicking my voice and acting like she fainted.

It looked more like a scene from Romeo and Juliette with the addition of a thick british accent, which she failed at too. I threw a cushion at her head making her stumble over. "That was rather unnecessary miss"

"Quit the accent it does not fit you" I crossed one arm over the other and turned my head. "I don't care that the kiss wasn't what you expected it to be it was still special to me" I took a sip of my, by now cold, tea. "Damn someone is on their period" Seungwan is usually quite good with words and a nice shoulder to lean on, however I don't know what got into her today. "First of all people need to stop using that shit as an excuse"

"Furthermore, you're a douche." I said with my the best British accent I could put on. I stood up walking towards the elevator. "I came here because I'm going mad and I need a friend but I guess I can't really rely on you" she ran up behind me and held my arm making me pull away from her.

"I know the kiss wasn't necessarily a sober love confession the way I wanted it to be, but it's still a kiss from the person I'm in love with and that right there makes it special to me" she looked at me apologetic. "I know I know. I'm sorry for reacting this way it's just...." she pulled me towards the couch and sat me down. "I don't want you to get your hopes up and get hurt by her" she spat the word her out like it was a disease.

"Look, why not get over her? There are people that will actually show you they love you. You're quite perfect, you know" there's this look in her eyes I don't recognize. Before I have more time to realize what it is she pulls me into a tight hug and starts caressing my hair.

I laid my head onto the place right between her neck and shoulder and mumbled "Maybe you're right" it was hard to agree on that but maybe she is. It's not like Seulgi has ever indicated she liked me the way I liked her. "Remember the story you told me about? You know the one about you two kissing back in high school?" I have been trying to push that memory far far away from my nervous system. Back in high school I tried confession my love to Seulgi in a.... how do I put it, subtle way.

During sex ed some of our classmates were bragging about how many people they have kissed. Knowing they would ask me any second I started making up a story about my first kiss in my head. So once they asked me I had my story ready. What I wasn't expecting was a dumbfound bear, sitting next to me with teary eyes, to get incredibly angry at me.

"You never told me? Am I not your best friend?" She stood up leaving class, before I got to stop her she was already on her bike and heading towards her house. Seulgi never skipped class. Meaning I really hurt her feelings. I started walking towards the gate of the school but got stopped by a teacher telling me to go to class 'right that second'

Once classes were over I rushed to my best friends house taking a bag full of her favorite snacks with me and started climbing up the railing to her balcony. I quietly opened her balcony door and slipped into her room. There on top of her bed was a sad bear eating her Pringles while sniffles escaped her mouth. "I can explain" I said sitting next to her on her bed but getting pushed off immediately. I stood up and sat down again. "I don't want to hear it"

I showed her the bag of snacks. "Okay. Talk" she abruptly pulled the bag out of my hands. "I lied" hoping that would be enough I scooched closer beside her with a smile on my face. "I know you lied to me, how was that supposed to make it better" she said letting the build up anger escape. "Seulgi, gomdori, I lied to them. I never kissed anyone before" I started wiping away the tears that have escaped her eyes and landed on her cheeks. "What? Why would you?" Even though she sounded shocked I could see the relieve in her eyes.

"Cause Seulgi. I'm Bae Joohyun. I can't tell them I never kissed anyone just because I'm too scared of being a bad kisser" I looked down for a second then a thought crossed my mind. "Seulgi can I kiss you? You're my best friend I would never feel scared and I would never regret having my first kiss be taken by you"

Before rationalizing the thought the words were already out on the open. The younger girl looked absolutely astounded. Not getting any reaction in the form of words I decided to take things into own matters. So I slowly leaned in waiting for her to stop me, which never happened.

My lips slid in between hers and I don't think I ever felt so much electricity sourcing through my entire body. Once I opened my eyes and looked into hers. My heart broke at the confused look she was giving me. She didn't close her eyes. She just stayed still like the doll she is.

So to hide the pain I started laughing. So loudly anyone would know it was fake. Anyone but seulgi. And she joined me. "Y-yea n-now I know why we should stay friends" she mumbled out. "Right" I shortly answered not trusting more words to leave my mouth. "B-but I need to go h-home" my voice got weaker by the second. "Bye Seul" I said rushing out the room and running my way home.

Believe me when I say, I was devastated. I had never in the 16 years of being on this earth felt such a pain. I got rejected by Kang Seulgi.

"Just like back then this must have meant nothing to her, Irene" she has an awfully accurate point. Seulgi said it herself we should stay friends."Thank you for making sense out of it" She pushed me back a bit so she could look at my teary eyes. "Of course I'd do anything for you" that's more like the smooth talker Wendy I know. "And just so you know. You're also pretty when you're crying, crazy" making an 'I'm mind blown gesture'. I looked down trying to keep my chuckle in.

"How about you sleep over at mine tonight?" there's that look again she looks I don't know how to describe it. "I can't today things have been chaotic I need some alone time, maybe next time" I said pecking her cheek.

"We have been here for way longer then it feels, it's been like 3 hours already" shockingly time really isn't slowing down. "Wow yea you're right. We should get going before it gets too late" she said facing the ground and pulling me to stand up.

We walked towards the elevator but she stopped me once we reached it. "Can we maybe have dinner tomorrow? It's been a while" she never stopped facing the ground which made me wonder what it was she was trying to hide. Was it the look she kept giving me? She's never been shy around me. "Sure sounds fun I'll meet you here around 7?"

"7 it is! Now let's get you home"
