Victoria loved her job, she worked in the local college as a history teacher.
If you ask her co-workers they would say she had a good life and a great husband, one that never forgot a birthday a anniversary or a special occasion. What they didn't know was that she sent herself all the gifts, flowers and the phone calls were usually from one of her daughters not her husband.
She had the latest hairstyle the best clothes and a beautiful car all of which was bought with her husbands money.
She made people think she loved him more then life itself but in reality she didn't give a damn, and their sex life that was lacking.

Victoria had her eye on her next husband for the past couple of years, she knew his wife had been terminally ill for years and she had expired last year. In a couple of years she might tell Gray she wanted a divorce cause she knew both marriages where about the money not the infatuation, she had been seeing a therapist for years without her husband knowing and her therapist thought a divorce was eminent. 🔴 Mr Cooper was a little stuffy, sometimes rude and conceded. but she was hoping to change some of that, she also knew that he wasn't in good health but his bank account was.

She'd married Gray right before college and soon had kids, and shortly after the three kids she realized she really didn't love him like she should, but the kids deserved to grow up with their father.
Victoria had lived this lie for so long that she wasn't sure how to live any other way.
The love was nonexistent, the trust was nonexistent, the sex was nonexistent, the truth was nonexistent but the lie was constant.

Victoria knew that Gray had Secret of his own. More than she cared to think about but his secrets were small compared to her own.
She knew one day her biggest Secret would someday be revealed and she dreaded that day. So she let him have his fun and pretended she didn't know and hoped things would work out the way she hoped.

Gray had spent another day shopping with his girlfriend, he had no idea that it was a setup cause his wife realized they where having a affair, it felt strange to Victoria but she approved of this one cause she had brains she wasn't just some silly girl that wanted him for his money. there had been others over the years but she knew there was something different about this girl cause it showed in Gray's attitude. He didn't seem to be so pessimistic anymore, he smiled often and even gave others a few complements and there wasn't any large amounts of money being taken for Grays bank account.

He enjoyed his day at the mall and he never enjoyed shopping before probably because His wife never ask his option on anything.
He caught himself pushing the hair out of Milly's eyes several times that day. He was falling for this lady and he told himself he'd never do that cause he loved his wife. he had never compare his wife to his girlfriends but that night he had, and he found that he might enjoy spending time with his wife if he put a little effort into things and their lovemaking.

He needed to start being the man she deserved, then maybe neither one of them would need their affairs, yes he knew about hers over the years, he even knew some of her other secrets and he sometimes thought she knew his. Most of her affairs were with Doctors or Lawyers, most knew where they stood and old enough so nobody would get hurt but this last one could be a deal breaker if anybody found out and he couldn't have that so he needed to think of something to put a stop to this silly thing. She was old enough to be his mother. he'd never date a girl young enough to be his daughter.

Hey he called as he walked in the living room,
Dinners ready Victoria called back.

"How was your day"  she ask.
It was ok but Milly's picky when it comes to shopping, she can't make up her mind about anything.
He realized he'd made a mistake when he heard the water turn on in the kitchen cause his wife was in the bedroom. He felt ashamed for being such an ass. He hoped Milly knew it was just part of the game that he really wasn't saying mean things about her.
