"Thank you so much" me and niya said in unison

We just finished signing the lease to our apartment and getting the keys. All we had to do was order our furniture and decorate. It has 3 bedrooms 4 bathrooms, livingroom, kitchen , laundry room, and the building also had a multipurpose room and conference room if we need it.

"Your welcome ms. Tolen and ms. Wright. Enjoy your new home" he said and walked out

"Aye bitch we finna be lit" Niya said twerking

All I have do do now is wait for the people who I did my internship with while in school to email me to let me know if I got the job. I wanted to be a school guidance counselor so I can help girls who went through what I went through or something similar.

"Yess I can't wait" I said smiling. My smile was cut short when I felt a small stomach pain

These pains have been happening for the past two weeks ever since my graduation night me and Ty had sex. They're not that bad so I just think it's nothing.

"You good" she asked looking at me confused

"Yeahh my stomach just hurt"

" maybe you need go to the doctor or sum" she said and I shook my head

"No it not dat serious I'm oka- owww" I got cut off by another stomach pain but it was worse this time

"Hell no we going to the hospital cuz dis not okay" she said grabbing my hand and pulling me to the door

She got her car keys and we went downstairs and weft out the lobby to the garage. She helped me in the passenger seat and then got in and drove off. Once we got there we went in the emergency room and had to sign in. I never got why they made you sign in for a freaking emergency.

"Ummm Hell-fuckin-low my bestfriend could be dying and y'all taking y'all precious fucking time!" Niya yelled making a doctor rush over to us

" it's not that serious" I mumbled. They took me back to a room and a doctor came in shortly.

"Ms. Tolen?" He asked looking at a clipboard and I nodded

"So what brings you here today"

"Well I wasn't going to come at first but she forced me. I've been having stomach pains for the past couple weeks"

" are you sexually active" he asked and I nodded

"Do you and your partner use protection?"

"Yeahh... sometimes" I said biting the side of my bottom lip in nervousness

"Okay well first we're gonna do a pregnancy test" he said handing me a small plastic cup

I went to the bathroom and peed. I didnt have to force myself because when I get nervous I have to pee. It's weird. When I was done I washed my hands and left out then went to give  the cup back to the doctor.

"Okay I will be back in about 10-15 minutes " he said and left out

"What if I'm pregnant" I said with a sad look

"You know I gotchu bestfriend. No matter what you gon be good" she said pulling me in to a hug

15 minutes later

These 15 minutes have been the longest minutes of my life. The doctor walked in and my palms started sweating.

"Would you like to read the results or would you like me to read them"he asked holding a Manila folder
