I paced back and forth through the hospital hallway as we wanted to hear from the doctor about Aaron.

What is wrong with me? I was taught never to act on impulse especially something like that. I wasn't even in the right state of mind because I was kinda drunk.

I was even more fucked up because the bullet was about to hit Paris but Aaron jumped in the way. I almost killed my baby..

"Aye Lemme talk to you right quick" my dad said putting his hand on my shoulder. He nodded down the hall and we began to walk

"Look I know you beating yourself up about it but he gon be alright. You didn't even mean, your finger slipped. It only hit him in the shoulder" he said

"But I still shot him. If he didn't move I would have shot Paris" I said

"What were you thinking Son? Why were you so ready to kill your mother?" He asked looking down at men

"She was already going to hell I just thought I could make it sooner" I said he smacked his teeth

"Where is Kash?!" I heard Aaliyah yell and next thing I know she was charging at me

"Aye, aye, aye!" Our dad said catching her

"Nah let her do what she want" I said sighing

"Bro what the fuck was you thinking. That was a sloppy ass "job". That shit could have went extremely wrong" she said pushing me

"So Aaron not dead?" I asked

"No bitch he waiting to curse you out in the eating room" she said

"Is paris good?" I asked her

"Nell no nigga. I just got off the phone with her and she got that lil scared white girl voice" she said

We all walked back to the waiting room and Aaron was in a wheelchair with a thing on his shoulder. When he seen me he rolled over and kicked the fuck outta my leg.

"You slow ass bitch. Somebody needs to confiscate your gun" he said mugging me

"Bro I'm so sorry"

"Yea Yea nigga all I know is I will be needing a financial compensation" he said turning around

I pulled up at the house and when I got inside Rome and Kari was sitting on the couch. When they seen me they came up to me.

"Is he good?" They asked me

"Yea" I said

"You fucked up tonight nigga...why the hell would you do something like this at yo house?" Rome asked me

"Man I don't even know. I wasn't even in the right state of mind. I was drinking the whole week and the idea came in my head and I just went wit it" I said shaking my head

Niya, Cleo and Paris all come downstairs but they  had bags. I scrunched up my face cuz she had Kairi in her car seat too.

"Where y'all going?" I asked confused

"They're going to be staying with me for a couple days... they don't feel safe here" Cleo said

"Lemme talk to you right quick" I said walking to the back hall
