I stirred around in my sleep until I finally woke up. I looked at the time and it was 3 am. I felt the other side of the bed and it was cold.

Kash would stay up at night and be doing god knows what, most likely hitting the bags. He's been real distant lately too and I've been trying everything to get him back to normal. Ever since he talked to his mom last week it had been like this.

I stood up and slipped on my red teddy bear slippers then walked downstairs and turned on the kitchen light. I poured myself a cup off apple juice and continued downstairs to the basement.

"Baby can you please come upstairs?" I said as he took shots at the boxing bag

"I'm not tired" he simply said as he continued

"But it's 3 in the morning. You didn't even stay in bed last night...again"

"Bruh I'm good. I'll come to bed when I'm tired" he said

"Never mind, Bruh" I said putting emphasis on the bruh

I tried everything. What his mom did to him was beyond fucked up it even had me crying. He never told me she did all that to him so it caught m by surprise. I'm doing everything to be by his side but he shut me out, he shut everybody out.

I walked back upstairs then went to go check on Kai. She was good so I went back to our room and turned the tv on because I knew i wasn't going to be able to go back to sleep

"Yall I don't know what to do. I feel like I'm losing him" I said to Cleo and Niya over the phone as I walked through the grocery isle

I was picking up some last minute things for the cookout today. I also have to go pick up Des because Kash forgot.

"Baby you not losing him he just going through something that nobody can help him with. Since I don't know the situation specifically all I can say is that he needs some inner healing" Cleo said

I told them what happened but not the specific details because that really wasn't their business plus it wouldn't be right or fair to him.

"But it's really hard seeing him like this. What if it gets worse and we— Paris breath" Niya said as she notice my breathing pick up

"Look please don't stress. We'll be at the house when you get back" Cleo said

"Okay" I said and hung up

I grabbed all the things and a few thing for Kai and Des. I went to self checkout and paid the put all the bags in the back of the car.

"Ready to see your big brother again?" I said tickling Kai stomach causing her to giggle and kick

I strapped her car seat in the backseat and got in. I drove the Ericas address and texted her letting her know I was outside. She came out a few minutes and Des hopped in the back.

"Hey fyonce" he said putting his seatbelt on making me chuckle

"Hey Des" I said as she came over to the drivers side

"It would have been nice for his father to come get him" she said putting emphasis on father

"It would have been nice for you to do a lot of things" I said smiling
