Andy POV:
I was on my way back to the hotel when I'd gotten a text message. It was around one in the morning, and while I had had my fair share of drinks tonight, I deemed myself sober enough to walk home alone. The guys were still out partying, nowhere to be seen within that club. I was surprised to see that Ronnie had even gone, considering he didn't drink and he had a girlfriend, but he was a good guy so I didn't question it. I didn't run his life.
Yanking out my iPhone from my back pocket, I looked to see who it was from, and read the short preview. It was Danny, asking that I come over. Once I had unlocked my phone, I discovered his room number and that the door was locked. Since Danny didn't message me a lot with serious topics, I figured this was important enough to hurry, so that was what I did. The hotel wasn't very far from where I was, and it took all about six or seven minutes for me to arrive. I knocked to let him know I was coming in, and I quietly closed the door behind me as I entered. The room was dark minus the television, but that's not what mattered to me right now. What mattered was that one of my closest friends was clearly in some sort of pain, and I felt as if it were my job to find out and fix it.
Danny didn't look too good, in all honesty. He was sitting on the right side of the bed facing the door, his head in his hands. He was just in a pair of blue plaid boxers, his hair a mess. I didn't like what I saw, because Danny rarely ever let himself get so... messy. I mean he usually went for that sort of style, but according to him, when it came naturally it just "wasn't the same". God, he's so weird sometimes... I walked over to the bed and sat besides him, wondering what to say. I opened my mouth to speak and ask what was wrong, but he beat me to it.
"I have a problem, Andy. It'll take a lot of explaining, so if you'll just... sit tight and listen, that's all I need." he picked his head up and met my gaze. His eyes were clouded in thought, as if he wasn't really here, like he wasn't actually with me. That worried me but I simply nodded, encouraging him to begin so I could find out and take care of this little conflict of ours.. only, calling it a "little" conflict was a massive understatement.
The Englishman turned towards me and took a deep breath, obviously questioning himself on this. There was really no secrets between us, considering both of us were so blunt and didn't care about what others thought of us. "For starters, I'm bisexual."
For a moment, I just stared at him. Danny Worsnop, bisexual? I remember back in the old days, when he would try to fuck as many women as possible while he was drunk. Forcing myself to remain composed, I nodded, letting him know to continue.
"And then... Austin and I have been sleeping together for a little while longer than he and Alan were dating."
Now, I couldn't resist showing the surprise on my face. Austin and Danny... wow. So many questions were just sitting on the tip of my tongue, and I almost let them all escape at once, but that would push Danny away. This wasn't a time for me to appear like I'm judging him, even though both of us knew I never would. "Does anyone else know?" I inquired. Danny had averted his eyes, clearly ashamed of what had happened.
He nodded slowly. "Ben and Cameron walked in on us. Ben threw a fit and Cameron sort of just stood there. I told them not to tell anyone, but they seemed to have both been drinking, so.." he trailed off, sighing slowly. I reached over and rubbed his back. He was surprisingly warm, warmer than I had anticipated... he pulled away after a moment and stood, sighing again. "I think I'm gonna go ahead and shower, mate. Thanks for coming over and listening." he forced himself to smile, though it was very weak. I could only imagine what he was going through.
Standing as well, I still had another question. "What are you and Austin going to do? Are you two going to tell Alan, or just pray that Ben and Cameron keep their mouths shut?"
The male took a step towards the other side of the hotel room, towards the bathroom. "I have no fucking idea, frankly. Austin just sort of left after saying that we should stop, but I'll talk to him in the morning."
I nodded but said nothing more as I walked towards the door. "Well, if you need anything, just text me or something." I said before walking out, and headed towards my own hotel, still pondering over everything that had happened.
