Some strange things have been happening in a small suburban town in Misty Hollow in mid-California. I am Nikki Shaw, witness of this unfortunate occurrence. I have long, wavy blonde hair, and striking green eyes. At the Western Pacific Medical Center (WPMC), strange deaths of the workers and their patients have been occurring, many of which resulted from unexplained markings on their bodies.

The victims with these markings are being taken to different science labs all around California, being studied to see if the doctors can determine what caused these strange occurrences, and possibly a cure. One lab researcher is my sister Alaska. Alaska has long, curly black hair, and beautiful gray eyes. She works for the Mountainside Science Research Center (MSRC), so her work habitually relates to deaths and cures for cancer.

I went to visit her to inquire her about the mysterious reappearing gouges in the victims.

" We won't get results in until later this month. By the way, I checked our labs records, and this has never been documented before." she said.

" Okay. Thanks." I returned to the medical center to observe the scene once more and more carefully this time.

The medical center had a patient come in, and was identified as Hope Smith. Hope had long, straight blonde hair, and she is very slim for her age. She was at a New Year's Eve celebration when she decided to drive herself home, drunk. She "met" the curb on Elm Wood Drive and rolled her neon green mustang. When the paramedics transported her to the hospital, they revealed an abnormal marking that resembled a bite on her forearm. The doctors found additional injuries, including a fractured pelvis. They kept her in the hospital for a month to let the injury restore. Once it was healed, Carrie, the head nurse, was directed to wheel Hope out of the hospital.

When Hope was transferring from the wheelchair to the vehicle that would transport her to the physical fitness center, she slipped off of the curb and fell. Hope let out a painful yelp. Carrie called for assistance, and they wheeled her back into the medical center. She had to stay for the remainder of the month, then the following month to allow it to heal once again. During that two-month period, Hope became ill. It got worse every day, as if she were dying. The doctors ran tests, all with the same result: unstable. By the support of the analysis, Carrie was sent to restrain Hope to the examination table.
