The next morning, I woke up earlier than everybody else, so I went over to the bathroom. I sighed, and started to unwrap my left arm. When I got the bandage completely off, I almost screamed. My arm, from my hand up to my elbow, was completely gone! I sank down to the ground with a thump, and Haven opened the bathroom door.

He gasped at sat down next to me and whispered in my ear, "It's okay to cry Nikki. It's okay..."

I started crying and woke everybody up. Tre was the first to arrive at the door. He just sighed and shook his head. Alaska came in second, with a look of concer on her face.

She ran over to the bathroom door and covered her mouth with her hand, hiding her gasp. "Oh. My. God. Nikki, We're so sorry. We had to so you wouldn't... you know."

"Ya. I know." I reply weakly. I glance in the mirror up on the wall in front of me. I gasp as I stare at my reflection. I am as pale as a ghost, complete with dark circles under my eyes. If another survivor shows up at our door, he would think I'm one of them, and he would shoot me.

As good as my luck comes, someone barges in the front door. There seems to be more than one, because they are screaming, "Bone, check that bedroom! And Rick, check the bathroom! Go!"

     Oh-no.

"We need to hide. Now."I said as one of the men, named Rick, barged into the bathroom and immediately pointed his gun in my direction.
