"So Sakura-unnie, are you from Japan?" Sakura nodded. "Wow~ I knew your name wasn't Korean! Why'd you move here?" Somi asked.
"School. I thought Korea would be a nice place for my studies." She quickly answered. As Somi continues to ask Sakura innocent questions, Wonwoo watched awkwardly from the hallway, hiding to not get Sakura's attention since it's clear to him that she trust Somi more. For some reason.
It's only been two days since Sakura officially moved in with them and so far it's been an unresponsive relationship between Wonwoo and her. Everytime they'd interact or even see each other, she'd run away or excuse herself from the room. And no matter how hard he tried to get closer, she wouldn't let him. Like she was purposely closing her heart to all men.
Wonwoo was getting kinda sick of it, he wanted to get to know her, he wanted to know why she's the way she is, he also wanted to know...
...why she makes him feel like this.
But how could he figure it out, if he's never given the opportunity?
"Ah! You're an unnie? Well excuse my manners than, sorry unnie I need to use the bathroom." Somi excused herself, leaving the living room and passing by Wonwoo with a ' You got this ' face.
Wonwoo peeked into the living room again and found Sakura staring out the window like she would usually do. Her black hair flowed thanks to the air vent pushing cool wind into the house. And Wonwoo could only stare before taking a deep breathe.
"Hey." He called, Sakura turned around with a worried expression. Making Wonwoo already feel like he's messed up.
"Wanna talk or something?" He offered.
Not answering, Sakura tried to walk past him.
"W- wait!" Wonwoo pleaded. The girl stopped and looked at him one more time.
"Why should I talk to you?" She asked coldly, Wonwoo paused, thinking for the best answer. But to no avail.
"I... I don't know."
"Then don't try to talk to me." She said harshly before walking back to her room.
Wonwoo sighed heavily, leaning against the wall to suppress the excess amount of stress that was bearing on his shoulder.

The next day*
Wonwoo kept finding himself in this circle of tension between him and Sakura, always being given a perfect opportunity to be alone with her. But everytime he'd try, she'd always push him away.
Also, during the past couple days, Wonwoo couldn't help but think of those two guys who were trying to find Sakura aswell. He wanted to ask her about that too, but like with everything else between them, it wouldn't be of use to try asking.
However today felt different, once again Wonwoo was looking at Sakura in the living room. But instead of staring out the window, she quietly laying down on their couch.
"What's wrong with me...?" She was talking to herself outloud. She probably thought the house was empty because Somi went to school, little did she know that Wonwoo had a day off. So he eavesdropped carefully.
"Why can't I even try to fix this? Why am I hiding without asking for help? Why am I so useless? Is what he said, true?" Sakura spoke harshly about herself repeatedly, wanting to make Wonwoo reassure her that what she was saying wasn't true. But he stood silent in the hall.
"Mom. Dad. Him. No one cares about me. They always think it's my fault, is it my fault? Am I... the problem?" Wonwoo could hear Sakura hiccup a tear or two.
"Maybe it's time for me... to go." She spoke quietly this time. And normally wanting to go would sound mike a normal thing to most people. But not to Wonwoo, to him it sounded like a cry for help.
And he just couldn't take it anymore.
"I don't think there's anything wrong with you." He finally revealed himself. Sakura nearly jumped from his sudden appearance and looked as if she was about to curse.
"W- were you there the whole time!?"
Wonwoo nodded.
Sakura felt a rush of PTSD hit her chest, she tried to rush away back to her room but Wonwoo blocked her.
"Please, Sakura. Just let me help you." He asked.
"No. I don't want your help!- crash!*
Gasp!
Sakura cupped her mouth after knocking over a glass dish, breaking it into nearly hundreds of pieces. She looked at Wonwoo with scared eyes, thinking that he'd lash out in anger because of her daring action. This caused her to tear up while backing away.
"I- I'm sorry-
"Is your hand okay?" Wonwoo asked softly, gently rubbing the spot on her hand where she knocked the plate. Sakura froze in place, not knowing what to say as Wonwoo grabbed a wipe of cream to heal the bruise.
After that, she grabbed her hand and ran back to her room.
Wonwoo sighed for what seem to be the tenth time just today alone. Rubbing his head in frustration before cleaning up the bits of broken plate.

Sakura POV:
' Is your hand okay? '
. . . .
Why...
' Please, Sakura. Just let me help you. '
He acts just like him, but why does he feel... so much warmer?
Sakura felt tears soaking her pillow case as she thought about what Wonwoo did multiple times over and over, always glancing back to her no longer bruised hand.
Wonwoo, are the really the one...
' I don't think there's anything wrong with you. '
...who will help me escape this hell?
