"So what did you want to come out here for?" Wonwoo asked awkwardly as the car engine hums dissipated, he turned to Sakura who was quietly staring outside towards the winter river. Mostly all the leaves of the trees were gone and filled with snow, to her disappointment.

"Can we take a walk while we talk?" She asked. Wonwoo nodded and immediately exited the car, Sakura quickly followed behind as they found a trail and started strolling the snowy path.

"So, like I asked, why did you want to come out here? And so suddenly too?" He asked again.

Sakura shrugged, "I was just curious... about you." Her voice trailed a little.

"About me?" Wonwoo scratched his nape. The crystal clear splashes of the stream were the only audible sounds that endorsed the ears of the young man as he awaited for her longing answer. "So what do you want to know?" He asked again, still confused.

"I just wanted to ask. . . Do you like having me around?" She asked quietly. Wonwoo raised an eyebrow.

"And be honest with me, Wonwoo."

The man paused in his tracks, looking up at the white winter skies. Sakura stood beside him, eyes glued and ears fully open for his response. She didn't even know the full reason why she decided to drag Wonwoo out into the cold, except for a distant memory that continued to haunt her. Would he say yes? Or would he say no? Those were her only thoughts. And frankly, she was hoping for a new answer. Not the same one she received back then, back with him.

. . .

" Of course, I like having you around because... I love you Sakura, and only you. "

He words vibrated like a symphony in her ears as she recalled. At the time, her love for him would've been eternal, but what came after only brought her memories to shame. Desperately, like hiding from you're deepest fear, Sakura closed her eyes. Finally, for what seemed like an eternity for the japanese girl. A simple, honest answer was emerged.

"If you want me to be honest, no. I don't like having you around."

Sakura lifted her lids again and saw Wonwoo staring at her. His face remained stern, and his eyes remained fixated like a laser. She chuckled, her expectations fell, but her heart sank even more.

"Oh... haha. Then what's the point in having me– "

"Let me finish." Wonwoo cut her off.

"I don't like having you around because it feels like a scared little girl is just roaming around my life. And I hate it. Because I feel like I can't do anything to help you. It's weird, honestly. Since before hand, I would've never done the things I have for you, the same for anyone else before my parents died." He confessed, Sakura's eyes widened from his announcement. She stared at his face to let him continue. "And I know you were the one who put the flowers in my room. And that's why I'm telling you about my parents. Before the accident, I was complete scum. But that day, they changed me. After they passed, I worked my hardest to achieve something better for himself. But I still wasn't happy, until I met you."

Her mouth quivered, "b- but you just said..." Wonwoo shushed her again.

"Ever since you came into my life, it's been rough between us. Sometimes I wonder if I really do want to keep going. Yet. . . something about you just wants me to become the person my parents would've wanted me to become, a good one. So yeah, I don't like having you around. But that's because I don't know who you really are." Wonwoo huffed out a small cloud of mist, the freezing temperatures of the area consumed his body. He grew tired of the constant thinking, then stared near a small underbrush. Where a memory of his own took place. Elsewhere, a string of disbelied pulled Sakura's mind, telling her it was wrong to be in this situation.

"You don't even know me, I could be dangerous and you'd soon fall down with me."

She said, making Wonwoo scoff.

"You wanted an honest answer, so I gave you an honest answer." His eyes glazed down to the girl. "And besides, I trust you."

Her heart tightened, "I guess I was wrong..." Sakura murmured. Wonwoo hummed in response. "You really aren't like him." She chuckled, how foolish, she thought.

"You keep comparing me to... him. If you don't mind, I would appreciate an honest answer." Wonwoo asked.

The two slowly began to walk again, with the heavy atmosphere becoming increasingly somber. "Are you sure you want to know?" She started, "I haven't even told your sister this. And what I'm about to tell you, you might not want to be with me again."

"You think I care who you were? I only care about the you right now, and right now you're someone I can trust."

"Fine... fine..." Sakura coughed. Wonwoo was now the one with his ears open for discussion. He was preparing himself mentally for the words that would be unfolded, despite his affectionate words he was kinda scared. Is the problem that serious? What if what I'm doing is wrong? He thought. But with no further definition, Sakura spoke.

"Mind if we head to someplace warm first? It's colder than I thought it would be."

. . .

"Okay."
