Wonwoo walked out of the bedroom, taking a deep breath as he leaned against the wall. They returned home about an hour ago and Sakura was asleep for the whole ride. He pulled his hair back from exhaustion and sat down on the ground.
"Is she okay?" Somi asked from her room. Wonwoo sighed again and stared at the ceiling.
"She told me her story." he said suddenly, Somi's eyes widened in surprise. "She needs help oppa, we need to find that Wooseok guy and bring him to justice." she said suddenly.
"It's not that easy Somi, we don't know where he is or what he's even planning." he grunted.
"So what? We have to be there for her. She needs our help."
"I know. I know... it's just... she's not going to open that easily to me. She barely even let me talk to her, even when he was crying once I try to hug her... she pushed me away. I'm trying, I am. It's just hard." He sighed.
Somi sighed aswell before throwing Wonwoo his jacket.
He was confused to what his sister was doing until she also threw him his shoes.
"You should go for a walk, oppa. You need to relieve some stress, don't worry I can watch her." She suggested.
Normally, Wonwoo would object to that idea because of what just happened but he knew he needed to catch a break just as much as she did.
"Fine, but if anything happens call me." he told Somi as he walked to the front door.
"Got it oppa." she waved goodbye once he opened the door.
"And." he paused, "If Sakura asks for me... tell her I'm not giving her up." Somi nodded, Wonwoo softly smiled before closing the door and into the cold after-winter night.
He didn't know what to do except walk, so he strolled down towards the mall and just looked around the stores. He then saw a cute couple in the distance, a familiar small couple. Seeing them hold hands and smiling was a soft sight to see.
If it was just Woozi, Wonwoo probably would've said hi or something. But he didn't want to ruin his date with little Nako. He smiled gently as the couple disappeared off into the distance.
Now alone, Wonwoo just stood in the middle of the isle before being called by a female.
"Yah Jeon Wonwoo!"
Wonwoo's head turned towards Chaewon, who was waving from her corndog stand. The younger girl did say that she had a part time job, so he wasn't surprised and just walked up to her casually.
"What's up Chaewon?" he asked.
"Nothing much, but what are you doing here?"
"Just enjoying the peace, the week's been stressful lately." he murmured.
"Yeah I get you... oh wait." Chaewon suddenly smirked at Wonwoo, making him confused. "Yah Kim Minju! Your "boy"friend is here~"
Wonwoo's eyes widened when Minju peeked around the corner with one of her coworkers wearing a small work hat.
"Who is that? You didn't tell me you had such a handsome boyfriend, Minju~" her coworker teased.
Minju blushed and immediately pushed her friend away, "He's not my boyfriend!" she could be heard yelling in the back, making Wonwoo chuckle from her adorableness.
Then, Minju reemerged from the backdoor and walked up to Wonwoo.
"You didn't tell me you worked here, Minguri." he scoffed.
"I- I didn't want you to know..." she stuttered.
Wonwoo raised an eyebrow, "What, why?"
"No reason... so why are you here?" she asked him.
"I just told Chaewon, I'm just strolling around. I need to release some stress that I've been building up from the past week." Wonwoo stratched his head lazily.
"Ah... how cute~" Chaewon intruded from the cash registered.
"What is?" Wonwoo asked.
"Young love is a wonderful thing isn't it?~" she teased, making Wonwoo roll his eyes, "Minju and I are just friends Chaewon, stop making it such a big deal."
Minju felt her heart drop, but nonetheless she kept agreeing with the guy. Chaewon pouted and walked to the backroom, "Fine, whatever..." she muttered.
"Anyways I better get going Minju, see you at school." he waved.
"Bye Wonwoo." she waved back.
=======
While Wonwoo walked away ge couldn't get what Chaewon said out of his head.
'Young love? What in the world is she saying? we're not in love, Minju's just my friend.'
He must've been thinking about it for too long because he didn't notice the other body in front of him.
They bumped shoulders, cutting Wonwoo from his thoughts.
"Oh I'm so sorry, are you okay?" Wonwoo apologized.
"Yeah yeah... I'm fi– oh." Wonwoo stared at the guy, he recognized his face immediately.
"You're that guy who's trying to find a girl, what was her name again?" Wonwoo asked.
"Oh it's not important anymore, we actually found her a while ago." he announced.
"That's great, congrats then."
"It's nothing, I'm just glad we found her~"
Wonwoo felt uneasy talking with the familiar man, something about his voice brought a flick of recollection to the young man's brain but didn't know what it was.
"Where's your friend, Seungyeon?" Wonwoo asked, trying to ignore the awkwardness.
"Oh he's home..."
"And where's the girl?" Wonwoo asked again.
"She's at home with one of her friend's little sister."
"Alright, I need to go now and once again congrats on finding her, bye."
"Bye."
. . .
"Oh wait, I didn't catch your name before... what is it?" Wonwoo paused and looked at the man as he awaited for the stranger's answer.
"It's Wooseok."
. . .
'Woo...seok?' his stopped breathing for a second.
"Kim... Wooseok."
Wonwoo looked directly into his eyes, Wooseok was smirking as they made eyecontact. His lips soon curled into a large smile, no... grin as he stared into Wonwoo's soul.
"It's seems like you know who I am, well I know you too... Jeon Wonwoo~"
