Daniel tried his best to explain but didn't think telling Luce the full truth was the right thing to do at this point in their relationship. So he tried his best not to touch on the important parts but he also didn't want to confuse her and distract her from her study so he took the chance and decided to tell her the full thing because he knew he would have to go back to heaven and leave her alone for awhile which she will hate but i have to do it.
