Once they got to the top of the steps, everyone chose a room they wanted to search. Mr. Graves had two Guests Rooms, Mrs. Graves had the Closet and the Bathroom, Mr. Veitch had Mr. Griffidonce’s Old Office and a Guest Room, Mrs. Veitch had the Art Room and the Lounge, Miss Halford had a Closet and the Library, The Butler had Miss Griffidonce’s room and her Master bathroom, Miss Griffidonce had her Parents Old Bedroom and their Master Bathroom. Mr. Graves checked the first Guest Room; when he entered, he saw a light blue wallpaper with a bed covered in light blue. The whole room was light blue. He checked the porch that was on the left side of the bed. Mr. Graves found found nothing. So he checked the other Guest Room. This one had a Light Red Reproduction Victorian Wallpaper, and the bedding is red as well to match the walls. On the walls were Black Candles Holders that could hold only two candle sticks. With a beige curtain covering the windows of the room. But of course, she wasn't there.
Mrs. Graves opened the Closet and all she saw was mop buckets with an old broom covered in cobwebs. No sign of the The Maid. Then she went next door to the bathroom. When she entered the Bathroom, she saw the top half of the wall white and the bottom half was a light colored brick pattern. The tub was in the middle of the room and a sofa on the end of the tub. Behind the tub was a window that went from the ceiling to the floor. She searched the Bathroom, but The Maid was no where to be found.
Mr. Veitch was in Mr. Griffidonce’s Old Office. Mr. Veitch saw a dark walnut finish desk with three chairs. One behind the desk, and the other two in front of the desk. Then there was a wood burning fireplace, and there were two windows in the back of the room. There weren't any
papers on the desk or in. The walls were a chocolate brown so it could match the desk and the fireplace. He looked for The Maid, but she was no where to be found. So he tried the Guest Room. When he opened the door, he saw that the room had only a bed and two end tables. It looked like someone had moved out. Since there wasn’t that much furniture, it didn’t take him long to look and find nothing.
Mrs. Veitch was in the Art Room, she saw many unfinished paintings and some finished ones. There really wasn’t that much to see or search so she went to the Lounge. When she entered, she saw three couches colored emerald green. With a light brown rug and a wood burning fireplace; mantle was a oak wood surface. She checked behind the couches, under the couches, and behind the curtains. She found nothing.
“Did you find her?” asked Miss Griffidonce.
“No, I am guessing that you didn’t find her either.” replied Mrs. Veitch.
“Yes, where could she possibly be?”
The Butler left Miss Griffidonce’s Room and caught up to them.
“Did any of you find her?” asked The Butler.
“No.” replied Mrs. Veitch,
When Miss Halford went to the Closet, she opened the door and saw The Maid lying dead on the floor. Miss Halford screamed when she saw the dead body and everyone ran to her to see what was wrong. When everyone arrived, Mr. Graves asked,”What’s wrong Miss Halford?”
“Look!” she replied.
Everyone saw The Maid pale with a rope around her neck.
“Who would want to kill The Maid?” asked Mr. Veitch.
“Someone psychotic,” replied Miss Griffidonce.
The Butler closed the door and told everyone,” Lets all go to the Study and discuss what we can do about this situation.”
“Alright,” everyone said. They all walked to the Study, and everyone was really scared on what is happening. When everyone got to the Study; Mr. Veitch and Mr. Graves poured themselves a drink and sat down to listen to The Butler.
“Alright listen, we either have a killer in the manor, or the killer is one of us. Now to make sure that there isn't a killer in the manor; I suggest we split up and search the house. Who here agree’s.”
"I do not agree with this!" yelled Mrs. Veitch
"And why not?" replied The Butler.
"Now say if one of us is the killer, if we split up, whoever is partnered up with the killer might get killed!"Mrs. Veitch said.
"Then we would have discovered who the murder is!" replied The Butler.
"But what about you?" said Mr. Graves.
"I beg your pardon?" replied The Butler.
"You are the only one without a partner." Mr. Graves said.
The Butler stood and thought about what Mr. Graves had said then told him,"The Chef is missing, I'll look for him and partner up with him."
"But what if you are the killer!" yelled Miss Halford.
"Well The Chef has to be found either way so should we go together or split up and search the manor?" The Butler said.
Most of everyone agreed to serch the manor but some where nervous be separated. However, they had to know if there was a killer in the manor. Everyone agreed and started to search the house.
